Product Overview

  • Optional wall mounting for Baseboarders Premium & Basic panels
  • Ensure a min. of 2 wall brackets per Baseboarders slip-on panel
The easy slip-on baseboard heater cover that instantly rejuvenates ugly old, yet perfectly functional, baseboard heaters. The Wall Bracket mounting solution is an alternative to the easy slip-on method that uses the existing back plate. In some cases the original covers might be completely removed leaving only the bare finned tube element. In new construction environments, only the finned tube element needs to be installed. The Wall Brackets are a direct substitution for a back plate.
  • Place 1 wall bracket on every other stud; stud locations or solid material backing behind the drywall is required for a secure attachment
  • Galvanized steel with a powder coated semi-gloss black finish
  • DIY installation, Phillips head screwdriver is required, no. 6 screw is supplied
  • As seen on "Ask This Old House"
  • Do not use on NeatHeat or other plastic baseboard heater covers
  • Will support both Baseboarders Premium and Baseboarders Basic series of panels
  • Use with Baseboarders™ Premium or Basic Series replacement baseboard heater covers

Questions & Answers

Does this work with the NeatHeat covers?

Asked by: AK007
I don’t know for sure as we used them with baseboarders we initially bought neat heat but returned as they seemed very flimsy so I feel like with the neat heat cover these would not work as they are meant to just pop over existing covers

I need new back plates for the heating, mine have rusted and are falling apart - basement heat.

The house was built in the 60's and has heat all around a large basement. The dampness has rusted the entire basement covers for hot water heat .
Asked by: Chink50
If the back plate is no longer available, you can use the WB001 wall brackets to secure the Baseboarders™ panels.

How do I attach the fin hangers to these? I have to use the brackets as everything is gone

Asked by: Kekkline
WB001 wall brackets were designed for securing the lip of the Baseboarders panel. They are not used for the heating unit. Please see image below.

What is shown on the Home Depot website is the black version--which I thought I was ordering. But what came is the white version. The white version will work, since the bracket is hidden. But just in case you think you're getting the black version...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well, a bit overpriced We needed these because we did not have the backs to the baseboard covers. These are simple L brackets with a little part the pushes the bracket out from the wall a little. This is where the baseboard cover attaches to the bracket. The price is high for what these are. If you can't afford these you could make do with a simple L bracket and a little shim that pulls it away from the wall.
