A:  Hi Reillydog - For this application, I would recommend the Hot Dipped pail. Both Hot Dipped and Galvanized pails are sealed to be watertight, but a sealant is applied to the galvanized pail, whereas the hot dipped pail is sealed via the dipping process into a molten zinc coating.         It's a good bucket
        It's a bucket. It's well made. Be aware that Behrens 5 qt bucket comes in two finishes, shiney and hammered (flaked). These were shiney. I do not know the relative merits of one over the other.
