Just under thirteen inches with the lid on. Handle on lid will make it higher. In order for the latching system to work the bail needs to be up. The comes to roughly 18 inches overall.
Absolutely. I would strongly suggest drilling 5 or 6 holes around the sides near the bottom to allow air flow first.
the can is 13 1/2 inches tall .the width at the top of the can is 13 3/8 . hope is helps
The lid on this one did fit snugly unlike the last one. However, lid must be removed in order to carry the can with handle in upright position as pictured.
I can't tell you exactly what this weighs, but it is not heavy. I use it to hold anywhere from an 18 lb. bag of cat food up to 22 lbs.
Absolutely. The lid gets so tight that you'll probably become annoyed that you closed it so tightly.
I did not have this experience. My lid fits tight and the handle moves up over the lid. I carry it out to the chickens every day.
No i didn’t but it’s small but it’s strong enough to do the job
Ours are air tight as we use them outside to store our bird seed. The lid is quite tight on these and require a hard pull to open. I would NOT recommend putting hot grease in it. The result could be disastrous.
