Dire Need of Quality Internal Parts & Improvement
This was a gift, so I suppose I shouldn't complain too much. Ok, maybe I will and only for the benefit of those who are thinking of buying this. It is a good concept and has a sturdy exterior construction and is very bright, but that's where the good times end. I had these less than 3 years in my garage and it has totally burnt out. I don't spend a ton of time in the garage, and I'd be shocked if I've even totalled anywhere near 70 hours of use. On top of it all, inside the compartment, there is the dreaded black hard resin cap that crumbles and falls off, dangerously exposing 2 silver wires and I only discovered this after it stopped working the first time - there are videos out there that show this issue and apparently, it is a very common problem. The second time it burnt out, it was toast. Only a dim section lit up while the other two LED pads were not working at all. IMO, I am absolutely shocked that Bell-Howell is putting their reputation on the line with such a piece of junk, or, maybe they're brilliant in making a piece of crap so that consumers will buy more often. Either way, if they truly care, they should make an engineering tweak and have higher quality internal parts.

Bought a few of these from my house and they worked incredibly amazing but for 40 bucks or 50 bucks you would think it would last more than a year it’s in my garage and I’ve replaced it three times every time returning the broken unit in the new unit box so other than the hassle of having to go to Home Depot it’s been pretty good

Spend more on QC, less on Marketing
Only lasted 9 months!!! Expensive at $30 originally, but figured for a reputable brand, sold in stores like HD, & it's ETL listing (safety) worth a few extra bucks right? WRONG...
Used for extra light in my garage that doesn't fall below 50°F. It didn't have a hard life. It MAYBE saw 300 hours of it's rated 50,000. Completely failed, all 3 panels. There's obviously a design flaw. No way this thing should be ETL rated, or sold anywhere. Huge FAIL

Lights go out or dont work
We bought 4 of these lights and out of the 4, 2 of them either started off having 1 of the 3 lights not work or just stop working. They would be nice lights if they stayed working.

Failed after 6 months
One of the segments failed after 6 months. Beyond Bright's response is that the warranty is only 90 days. For an LED light? Don't buy this light.

Broke in less than a year. The contact point in the socket broke off into the light somehow.

So much light for little money and easy install
I plugged this light into my double socket fixture as pictured just to see if they were bright enough to keep. I since have replaced my shop light box with a single socket fixture. This light is super bright for a 30$ light and 3$ single socket fixture.
