This is a great tv/stereo stand! We ordered online and picked it up at the store to avoid paying additional shipping fees. My only complaint was that it took 2 weeks to arrive. The assembly time was about 30 minutes and was simple. This stand is very sturdy and looks nice with our vintage stereo system. We are very pleased with our purchase.

This was shipped, about 100 lbs., in a package that is flat with the disassembled stand inside. The package was very well padded with large sheets and blocks of Styrofoam. I was concerned when I saw the condition of the box but there wasn’t a scratch on the product. The instructions are mostly systematic pictures or sketches and it doesn't take long to put together, about an hour. The finish is a glossy Mahogany Cherry that really fits into many color schemes. This TV stand accommodates flat-screen TVs up to 60 inches or 75 lbs. Three Adjustable open shelves hold media components and has two front doors that offer adjustable shelves for hidden customized storage of media equipment and accessories. There is a Touch-up pen included along with tipping restraint hardware to help prevent accidents and damage to the TV stand. This product offers a 1-year parts and labor warranty.

The Leawood tv stand for 60. tvs in mahogany cherry is my choice for a great tv stand. It came boxed very well and ready for me to put it together. The instructions were easy to follow. The wood pieces are finished with a beautiful stain finish. I spent a couple hours putting it together being very careful to make sure it was right. It is rated to hold 75 lbs. on top of stand. Very well made.

The Leawood TV Stand is reasonably easy to assemble (I have attached a slide show video of the steps needed) using a cordless drill, a bit driver and Phillips #2 and #3 bits. The end result is an attractive, solid piece of retro-look furniture. It comes unassembled and is quite heavy. I believe the packaging listed 75 lbs. making it awkward to handle for one person. The instructions are easy to follow and tools needed are simple. The door hinges were a bit tricky to get right (this is usual for me) and there was a scuff mark on the face rim, cause unknown. The shelves are adjustable and there are plenty of holes in the back to route A/V cables. I happen to like the Mahogany-1950’s look, and appreciate the nice design and easy assembly.

This unit is relatively heavy and sturdy compared to most assemble yourself furniture. The shelves are adjustable heights, and could be used or not. The door hinge hardware is high quality, fully adjustable. The color is a nice red-brown (see photo) a bit lighter and redder than dark Walnut. I appreciate the holes in the back panel for hand holds and routing cables - no need to drill holes. The package is large and heavy but well done with cushioned corners and foam blocks or sheets between pieces. The instructions were generally clear, each piece labeled with a sticker to help identify it. The small parts came in plastic bags, also labeled. Unpacking, assembly, and cleanup took my wife and I about 3 hours.

Leawood TV stand is quite substantial. It's pretty heavy, over 100 pounds of material. We took it piece by piece and put it together in our loft area. The material appears solid, well made and had a nice weight to it. There are cushions on the doors making it less loud when closing. It's not a slam, slow closing door but much better reducing noises. My husband and son assembled the stand which took them about an hour and half. There were no tricks or complications during this process. It's a solid piece of furniture, the mahogany finish is very nice. It came with extra shelvings, but I preferred leaving the cabinet with only 1 shelve. I can put a large wicker basket inside to hide some toys.

Contents are well protected with substantial use of Styrofoam and rubber corner blocks to prevent damage. This was successful, as there were no noticed issues from bad handling. Dowels for attaching the front surround frame were short by four, which were received within a week after registering the item online and opening a defect ticket. This delayed the assembly which took between two and three hours total effort, including adjusting the door hinges. Stain is uneven in places and quite a lot darker than the pictures. The finish is more of a dark brown without any hint of the reddish-brown color we were hoping for and expecting based on the pictures. This may have been caused by the lighting when the pictures were taken. Of the 14 quarter-turn fixtures that hold the front surround frame in place, four inserted through the bottom of the unit would not turn to the lock position and this could not be achieved as they easily strip out when forced. Shelves are solid, but the fit, especially of the center shelves, is sloppy. They should be at least 1/8" wider to eliminate some of the looseness. The labels identifying the parts during assembly were difficult to remove from the shelves and left a sticky residue. Hardware was oily and this transferred to my hands during assembly. The included anti-tilt bracket was not needed, as the unit is low and heavy. The splayed legs made tipping it over during assembly quite an effort. This inherent stability might be reduced if a heavy television is placed on the unit. The included scratch-fix stick is a nice touch, but appears to be quite a few shades too light to properly cover up a scratch, considering the dark stain. This is otherwise a solid unit and perfect for its intended purpose. My wife especially liked the matching integrated door handles.

This T.V stand was packaged and shipped to me. The shipping packaging was very adequate. They wanted to be sure no pieces were damaged and they were not. The assembly instructions were very precise and I had no trouble building this unit. I was very impressed with the quality of materials. While it is not solid wood, it is very nice quality veneer and stain. The hinges are durable. The piece matches my vintage Danish bedroom set perfectly.

The tv stand is wonderful, not too difficult to assemble. It exceeded my expectation!
