An outdoor extension cord with only one outlet is welcoming moisture where a multiple plug is attached. Often folks would shortcut, using a multiple that wasn't outdoor safe.
Before getting this extension cord, my husband often used a pigtail with triple outlets (see photo attached).
This outdoor 12/3 cord with triple outlets is a welcome addition to my husband's collection of cords. It's now hanging in the garage, ready for use.

This 25 Ft. 12/3 SJTW 15 Amp 125 Volt outdoor power cord is an excellent product. This cord has a triple tap receptacle so that up to three tools or devices can be plugged in at once. The triple tap receptacle has an LED light so that you will know that you are getting power. There have been several times in the past when I was trying to use an extension cord and couldn't tell if I was getting power to the receptacle or not. With this cord you will know because you can see the LED glowing. This 25 ft. cord is excellent for use with generators and power tools that require up to 15 amps. Just remember that the cord's capacity is 15 amps at 125 volts. Make sure that you don't plug too many high-amp tools into the three receptacles. This is a cord that is specially rated for outdoor use, it is a bright yellow color so it can be seen easily and is fairly flexible even though it is a heavy duty cord. Overall, it is a very good product and I recommend it.

Wish I had ordered this extension cord forever ago, what a great addition to my tools.This cord allows me to plug in multiple tools at the job site and at home. Wonderful for bad weather and outdoor use. The bright yellow high visibility jacket helps prevent accidental damage and also has a little pilot light, a nice extra. The cord is well made, heavy duty, has a durable coating, and hopefully will last forever. I live in California where the fires cause lots of power outages so it will be great for our generator and any other extra indoor and outdoor lights we may need. Great product and will be used a lot.

All wires are not created equal. Our instinct is to treat all extension cords as interchangeable but this is a mistake made by the unknowing. This extension cord is rated for 15 amps. Some items, like an electric space heater say not to use them with an extension cord. But if you're heating a greenhouse you may not have a choice. This is when you go that extra step and get a heavy-duty extension cord like this one. I used it on a large 12 amp hammer drill I was using with a chisel to break up a big rock. At 25 feet it may or may not be long enough for your job. Measure and choose for yourself. It's nicely manufactured, looks good one continuous molded piece. Has 3 receptacles for what you're plugging in. The little pilot light, while not necessary is a great convenience. If there's a problem it eliminates a few possibilities when troubleshooting. We have power and it's all the way to there, for example. When using your corded power tools they will last longer when you use a heavy-duty extension cord. If you use too light a cord you can even feel them getting hot. Guys and Gals like us who are in the know will use the properly sized extension cord. Looks like a good cord that will last a lifetime.

I have been needing this triple tap extension cord for a while.
California was put into forced outages last October. Generators have but 4 3prong outlets, pick and choose what is needed to plug in. Most are light draw items (computer/internet), but they still take up an outlet. With this triple tap extension a few table lamps can be added for lighting and still take up only one outlet on the generator.
I have some exterior Christmas lights; one extension cord for each. Now 3 can be lit with only one cord and only need one outlet instead of three.

This is a really heavy cord. It is 12/3 wire so may be limited by that factor, but I have nothing I would ever need a heavier cord for. It is so convenient to have three plugs in one and I use a bunch of these for Christmas lights. This one is 25' long and rated for outdoors. The light in the end lets me know if I have lost power to my outlet or if it is unplugged. It doesn't tangle easily but it needs to lay out awhile to coil nicely after being in the package for shipping.

This cord is a great add to provide 12 G power to accessories. Electricians will like it. Triple tap lets multi plugs. I used on Portable generator to local work. 15 AMP power is good and does not overload. Hard service cord, thermoplastic constructed jacket, 300 volt, weather resistant for outdoor use. S = service, J = Junior, T = Thermoplastic/Vinyl, W-A = Weather Approved. It’s about 5 pounds and is a good extension of main power. Very flexible even when cold. Durable coating.

Today I received the Bergen Industries 25 ft. 12/3 SJTW 15 Amp/125-Volt Outdoor Triple Tap Extension Cord, Yellow. I like to use #12 wire to run my power tools outside. A good extension cord is important, if you use to light of extension cord you can damage your power tools because of not enough amps. With the three socket head it is a lot more useful thank the old single head. I like the yellow, easy to see.

This really heavy duty cord with its triple tap crows foot female end can handle nearly anything I can throw at it.
Its 12/3 wire is the same that the majority of the circuits in our home are hard wired with.
It's rated for 15 amps/125 volts so it will handle any saw, compressor drill or really any other tool I have.
I put this one on the wall right beside our generator so I can have the necessities up and running in short order

This is a very well made 25ft, 12/3 outdoor extension cord. This one will last me a very long time. The insulation on the cord is extra heavy duty and will withstand a lot of abuse. It’s not so stiff that it’s aggravating, but it’s thick. The ends are solidly in place and well connected. There’s nothing flimsy here. I needed this, as you probably do, for those projects where I’m using two or three different tools and I’ve gotten tired swapping out with a single outlet cord. Now I can move smoothly and effortlessly from one tool to the next. This will be handy in so many places, like the camper, enclosed trailer or some of those other projects that require the use of multiple tools. No complaints with this cord. It is very well made.
