    Q:I see that these are specifically made for K style/ ogee style gutters. Is there any reason why they won't work on California style? Seems like the top /important part should be about the same.

      A:  Very likely - but likely not easy. Sounds like back edge would have to be bend down 90-degrees and attached with screws before attaching front. Request a sample from the manufacturer so you can determine exactly how it will work. They sent me one for free and it is the best option for my asphalt shingles - back of the guard just slips under and is thinner than other brands so doesn't bend shingle up as much.

        A:  Doug, Yes, the Flex Fit will work. You can custom bend the back edge at a 90 degree angle or which ever angle you prefer to give the correct fitment. You then secure the back by putting screws into the back edge for a secure fit. Thank you.

          They have been repelling the pine needles which is a big improvement over other gutter guards but they are not as sturdy as I had hoped at this price. The ends of the gutters are also not as good as some competitors.

          Of the 5 I looked at, these are the best...
          Of the 5 I looked at, these are the best for me. LeafFilter are VERY robust but 5" sample I purchased is too wide for my 5" gutters (and much more expensive). I installed GutterGlove/Raptor on back of my house but its thicker back edge (13/64 v 5/64 for Best 1) makes it less suitable for gentler slope in house front. I had white vinyl in front for a few years; works but heavy debris accumulations were causing sag. I had black metal mesh on back of house a couple of years - LOTS of small debris got through and downspout clogged.
