Yes, this transformer can be hardwired. This transformer is not equipped with a constant On setting. It offers a Auto which is a Dusk till Dawn setting, as well as 4.6 and 8 hour setting after Dusk has set. The hardwire will not allow you to simply turn the transformer on.
This transformer can only utilize the Dusk till Dawn sensor. You will not be able to set a time, it will simply come on at Dusk and off at Dawn.
