Holy Crap this thing is like a helicopter
We used purlin mounting for our garage and the majority of the time it to for the install was measuring and drilling holes in the purlins and the angle iron. Its very important to use the correct size angle iron as all the measurements are based on that. After we finished the install and turned it up to full power we were blow away. Its almost scary fast when it is on full power. If something we to contact the blades at full power I could not imagine the total destruction that would happen. It moves so much air that it cleared the floor of all dirt in the area under the fan. We have a 18' high mounting point and I cut the down rod to make the lowest point of the fan 14' as the garage has RV's and boats that reach 13'6". Its not a cheap fan but it is built like an Ox. It ships in 2 boxes. One box only holds the blades and is light and 7' long and the other is 3'x3'x3' that has everything else and has most of the weight. The controller does have a slight hummmmmmmm that is annoying but I have it mounted close to the breaker box and just turn the power off when not in use.

Should have been a 5 star but it had a slight high pitch whine that dissipated after about 15 hours of use and there is a slight wobble at the highest speed but I think that the problem might have been with my installer. The fan moves air that can be felt in almost every location in my 16,000 sq. ft. gymnastics facility even though I could only use a 1 foot down rod instead of the full 3 feet. That just would have made it too low for my high level gymnasts to tumble under. I would definitely recommend this fan.

Extreme Air Movement
Picked up the Shop Fan for our new steel garage build. It didn’t make sense putting up 9 small ceiling fans when we could get the same result or more with one really big fan. Couldn’t be happier with the first 6-months of use. Keeps the air ciculating during the hot summer days in AZ.

Funnctional Statement Piece
Really helps move air for cooling in the summer and keeps heating more efficient in the winter. Best purchase yet for my man garage and I couldn’t imagine not having it now. Game changer!

Indoor Tornado!
We bought this about 4 years ago and it’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made, I love it more than my car! It pushes an incredible amount of air around our gymnastics facility!

Everything and more you could possibly want from this fan. It moves a tremendous amount of air, I had my electrician check it, at 100% power, it's drawing 5.4 amps, I run my at 50% power, which is still a lot of air movement, and it's extremely quiet. If you got the space for one, you won't be disappointed.

BA Fan moves BA amount of Air!
This fan is fantastic and circulates air very evenly through our 4000 SF warehouse. The controller allows us to set the speed at virtually any setting in % increments from 1 to 100. We were also very impressed with the heavy duty ceiling mount assembly and the overall industrial quality of the entire package.

A great investment!
We put up two Big Fans in our warehouse and they work great! We had an issue with one compressor on arrival but we called the company and they fixed the issue within days!

Big A s s Fan is true to its name
We had an issue wit the speed controller making a weird noise, called BAF company and they sent a new one asap. We used 2 pieces of double strut to hang between two ceiling joist and removed the so cable and used 3/4" conduit 40' to a LB then used flex to the fan. This fan is perfect for the shop, you can hear a little gear reduction noise but not overly loud.
