Better than the first one I that came out. I bought one two or three years ago and the light and heat worked intermittently and cooked fast; however, this one stays on continuously and cooks even faster than that one did. I like the food extension for a full size turkey. The food is crispy even without any skin and just butter; perfect timing for a sick person. The directions tell how to use the wash cycle works.

The Big Boss air fryer was very simple to assemble. I love the ease of frying chicken without using oil. I just sprayed the chicken with a little oil and it came out nice and crispy. I’m looking forward to air frying a whole chicken.

Perfect For Anyone!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly don’t know how we lived without owning the Big Boss Oil-Less Convection Countertop Oven! We have the 16 Quart version and it’s perfect for our family of five! We’ve been looking to find ways to eat healthier and this is perfect for doing so! I love fried anything, but using all that oil just isn’t healthy for our bodies! This oven makes the most delicious fried chicken! It’s super crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! It’s simple to make anything in this oven also! That’s one of my favorite features. I love to marinate chicken, toss it in the oven, turn it on and walk away! It doesn’t get any easier than that!

The best oil-less fryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so I figured this wouldn’t cook as well or worse then other air fryers because it’s glass. Let me tell you I have 3 other different air fryers and this one by far cooks the best. I was so surprised by how great this cooks everything, we use it all the time and haven’t even used the others since getting this one. I love that you can see what’s cooking and you don’t have to stop the cooking process to check on your food. It’s also so much easier to clean. The glass bowl is very thick and heavy, but not to the point that it’s hard to move around. I highly recommend this fryer, you won’t be disappointed.

This has quickly become one of my favorite appliances and gets used almost daily! I've been using the Big Boss for about 5 months and I've made everything from veggie chips to burgers and fries to filet mignon! It's extremely easy to use, versatile, and so incredibly easy to clean!! Cooks quickly and all the way through from defrosted OR frozen, and crisps the exterior of battered items quickly. Looking to air-fry without adding the extra oil? Looking to air-fry and watch your fat intake? This item does it all AND all parts (except for the cover/heating mechanism) are dishwasher safe.

Easy to use, Quick clean up

I have seen and heard good things about air fryers and oil-less fryers for a while and was excited to finally try one for myself! This Big Boss oven did not disappoint!
First, the packaging is very secure, all the glass and electronic parts are protected with packing materials that are molded around them.
Second, it is bigger than I expected! A huge 16qt cooking area (an included expander ring helps on larger items like a big turkey).
Third, I love that it is round and all glass. You can check on things without opening it and disrupting the cooking process.
Fourth, the cleanup was quick and easy for a larger kitchen appliance. I used soapy water to quickly rinse the large glass bowl (so that it didn't take up my entire dishwasher shelf), threw the metal rack and metal basket into the dishwasher, and wiped down the lid. Simple!
The unit included a recipe book and simple instructions. I would love an even bigger book, but I'm sure I can find things online. For example, we added a bunch of wings, but the instruction book had time and temperature for 6 wings (we were doing about 60-70, we didn't want to do 10 batches). We started with a huge basket full and found it was better to do a packed single layer. You got the nice crisp and perfect cook that way.
For anyone else attempting to do a large batch like this, we found it worked great to have a batch in the Big Boss while the rest were getting a partial bake in the oven. Then when the Big Boss had them crisped up just perfect, we would rotate batches of almost done wings from the oven into the Big Boss so that they would have that perfect non soggy cook we were going for.
I can't wait to try a bigger item like a whole turkey. We are having fun with it already!

This fryer does not disappoint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of my favorite foods is french fries. I am happy to report this product makes delicious fries. It is crunchy and non-greasy. I like to add some parmesan cheese and garlic. It makes the dish tasty and everyone who has tried it enjoys it too. The fryer is user friendly.

Everyone Cooks!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are happy to have this new addition to our kitchen. The fryer not only cooks but it warms up previously cooked fried foods. My husband is more willing to cook with this fryer. It is easy to use and I would definitely suggest using Pam if you want a crispy skin. This fryer also helps to whip up weekday meals—put the meat in and work on the sides while the meat is in the fryer. I’m glad we have this one!!

Cooks fast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absoulty love this oil-less air fryer! I use it for everything. It makes cooking so much easier and faster. The bowl and racks are really easy to wash. The fryer it self was not hard to out together to take apart for storage. It heats up very quickly and cools down even quicker. I have used this to make french frys which only took 7 minutes rather than turning the oven on, waiting for it to preheat, and waiting 25 minutes for them to cook. I made pork chops in 15 minutes, with little to no mess at all! I would defiantly recommend this to anyone that wants a cleaner kitchen, or a busy person and in a rush to cook. This is a wonderful addition to my kitchen!

Wouldn't buy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been wanting an air fryer for sometime. This isn't quite what we were used to seeing but it works similar to the metal ones you see advertised more. I don't really like how fragile the class seems plus it is really heavy so I feel like if it was dropped it would shatter and be a huge mess so metal would make more sense in that aspect. It lights up the whole room when being used and it also puts off a weird smell when being used. We have used it 3 times and the smell is still there when being used but it is hard to tell if the smell will go away eventually or be there with every use. If I was to purchase one I would buy a more traditional one instead of this with the glass. The glass gets very hot as appose to the metal ones have a hard plastic outside that doesn't get hot but rather just warm. I wish it came with more info about how to cook frozen meals, etc.
