A: The base plate is 15" x 4 3/4". The collapsed mechanism measures 17 3/4" overall. (Slightly longer than base plate) The collapsed height is a little bit under 4". Not sure about bolting it down. I haven't found any need for doing this.

A: I'm sorry, I don't entirely understand the question. The base plate is approx. 14 3/4" long and 5" wide, and clearance would vary with the vehicle, at least as I understand the question. TP

Home Depot selling Used goods

I just received this jack from Home Depot and there is no doubt that it was used and then repackaged and returned to the store. I will no longer order anything online from Home Depot if I'm going to receive used merchandise.

Compact, stable jack for emergency use. Hard to turn handle but fixable.

Compact, light jack with a larger base to keep it stable. Was able to lift my heavy Tesla, although the provided handle makes it a struggle. I highly suggest a socket adapter. I'll be keeping the jack with the adapter in my car for emergency use and will likely throw the handle away.

Great replacement for OEM.

I needed a new jack to replace a missing one in the truck I just bought. Almost perfect fit. I've not actually used it-that's why I can't give 5 stars- just lubed and cycled it full distance. I trusted this brand because of 20 years success with a Big Red engine hoist.
