AnswerYes but you may need to purchase additional mounting hardware and depending on the stone the mantel may not lay flat against it.

Many imperfections

It took me 3 different orders to get a satisfactory mantel. The description and photos of this should really show that this wood has many natural imperfections and holes. The first one I received had a huge imperfection right on the corner. It looked like a chip at first, but it was stained so it was really just poor craftsmanship. The second one had many noticeable imperfections that didn’t look right. I decided to try my luck one more time. The third mantel also had tons of holes/imperfections, but for the decent price, and the fact that I just needed a mantle ASAP I decided to keep it.

The actual mantle looked nice but the wood that was used was very soft and not stained well. The mounting bracket (or I should say lack of) was weak and flimsy.
