I needed to improve traction on unfinished wood basement steps for my elderly dog. These are not high quality rubber, but they are serving their purpose and word the money I spent. She hasn't lost her grip going up these stairs since I installed them several months ago. They do collect dust/dog hair and a broom doesn't do the job so prepare to use your vacuum hose or damp cloth to clean them.

you need a heat gun to achieve flatness when installing...
you need a heat gun to achieve flatness when installing this brand of star tread cover, I would also recommend using an adhesive along with anyother fasters you might use.
