Roaches check in...but they don't check out. Roach Motel trap is an extremely effective, adhesive insect trap that works to eliminate all kinds of roaches and other crawling bugs, including crickets, scorpions, spiders, Palmetto bugs and waterbugs. It contains no pesticides and no pesticide odors - use it in kitchens, bathrooms and basements. Roach Motel contains a special lure that attracts roaches into the trap. Once inside, pests become stuck in powerful glue and die. It's clean and easy to use - no need to clean out cabinets or pick up dead bugs throughout the house. Just throw the Roach Motel away when it's full of dead bugs. These traps are best used in corners, along walls, under sinks, behind appliances and other places crawling bugs live and hide. Roach Motel traps are from the makers of Black Flag home insect control products. Insects invading your corner of the world? Whatever insect you're fighting, Black Flag products are dedicated to providing the tools you need to regain control. With formulas that act fast and never back down, Black Flag insect controls have been arming homeowners in the battle against invading bugs for more years than any other brand.

Sorry, I do not know if that would work. I ended up buying new ones once my were filled up, but maybe a good idea.
No - the glue doesn't loosen with heat.
Thank you for your question. If the glue traps are in close proximity to a heat source; this could cause the glue to loosen.
Probably. I would put the traps in rooms overnight or when there is no steam.
Yes
Not sure about silverfish specifically, but I use them for sliders and crickets. Works great!
These aren't designed to attract and eliminate other bugs - only cockroaches.
I cannot say it does but I can tell you that any insect that comes in contact with the glue motel checks in and never checks out. You can find creepy crawlers, roach, spiders any little insects wandering around would get trapped in there, so I believe even those little silverfishes would. Hope this helps. Good Luck!
Thank you for your question. Our product hasn't been tested to assist in eliminating silverfish so we cannot guarantee the product will be effective.
Yes great a wonderful world. Again.
Thank you for your question. No, the product will only lure the roaches within a few feet of the motel.
Place against the wall in any room as bugs love to crawl along walls.
Not as far as I know. I have always put these in the rooms were I saw the roaches, after I sprayed or had an exterminator spray. They are really great for keeping the stragglers away, bu I don't use them for heavy infestations.
Not as far as I know. Cockroaches will perhaps receive a scent that emanates from the boxes, but the scent doesn't have a large enough range to lure more cockroaches from long distances.
Not necessarily works that way. It is recommended to place in dark, moist, or areas where the roaches seem to be originating from ex: under sinks, behind refrigerators, behind microwave on counter tops since they are after food as well. Just remember food and water is what they are after so once you hit the main areas you should start seeing a difference. Hope this helps. Good Luck!
Thank you for your question. We would recommend our Black Flag Extreme Home Insect Control plus Germ Killer.
Call up an exterminator, or get on GOOGLE and do alittle internet research on this particular insect and how to eliminate them in the most effective way.
I bought these for catching small roaches but there were quite a few different bugs trapped inside. We haven’t experienced any trouble with sprickets but for the price I’d say it’s worth a shot. Best of luck!
Thank you for your question. Yes, the opening is large enough for a mouse to enter.
Yes a mouse could get stuck. I have also found a salamander inside. If you have the non-toxic glue solvent (medical grade type) you can release them. I have done this with mice. The mice tend to cry for several days in distress...they can take a long time to die on these glue traps that are in my opinion cruel for mice.
Yes...a mouse would get stuck.
Maybe a tiny baby mouse could get in there but a bigger mouse no the opening is not big enough for one to fit. Good luck!
It would have to be an exceptionally small mouse, and even then, the sticky substance wouldn't be strong enough to hold the mouse.
About a month
It really depends on how full it gets with bugs. The stickiness is on top and bottom so the trap can be rotated. Also we are catching scorpions...and they take up a larger area of the sticky part which would mean that eventually other bugs, or other scorpions could just crawl over. I was somewhat surprised at the variety and number of bugs in the trap behind our TV. Several spiders, pincher bugs, two scorpions. We will have to get some more traps soon for the house and garage. We will leave the trap out until the stick are is no longer effective.
I think its every two to three months but it depends on how bad the roach situation is. Hope this helps. Good Luck!
The traps should be replaced once they are full with insects.
Roach motels are reversalable, and both sides should be utilized. When one (bottom) side gets rather full (depending on the amount of infestation) turn the box over (with the top now becoming the bottom of the box). Let that other side fill up (over a few nights, days, or a few weeks - like the first bottom side) then throw the box away and buy new ones. Place the new boxes accordingly to where the cockroaches seem to congregate the most in your location. Keep re-doing this process, till the boxes stop collecting any cockroaches over an extended period (at least a few weeks of finding nothing in the boxes). Of course you might have reoccurring infestations, depending on if there are external sources from where the cockroaches might appear from (a next door apartment or conduits [like piping] that might lead new batches of cockroaches to your location). Repeat, repeat, repeat, till the boxes remain empty - they boxes are rather inexpensive in cost, so buy as many as needed.
