Why are there holes at the bottom of the shield if this is not designed to go against a wall with an air space ? If this free standing product is intended to absorb enough heat that it requires holes at the bottom , then this product is a safety hazard

Hello, this is a 20 Gauge SATIN COAT free standing sheild not to be install behind the wall just to protect from heat radiations it is not used to cut back on clearances.
