    Degreaser
This product works pretty good. I believe the warmer it is the better it will work. I cleaned a tractor that was leaking diesel and it took time to cut through the dirt and grime. Rinsed off real well and did not harm the paint. Easy to use and the nozzle directs the spray just where you need it. The can will last quite a while and not run out quickly.

    Works OK
I tried this degreaser on my Expedition engine. My engine was only medium greasy. I sprayed it on the engine. There is a high lingering petroleum smell. The spray does not foam, like some do. I waited about 15 minutes before rinsing. I used the a hose to wash it off (not a pressure washer) There was plenty of grease and dirt that came off. It did seem to leave a film and odor on the engine. Hopefully, it burns off soon. I ran the engine to help dry the water off. I also used a Leaf blower to help it dry off.

Helps keep those tractor Zerks clean so greasing goes in, not all over
The trouble with dirty Zerks is grit can prevent the tight seal needed to hold pressure so the grease goes into the fitting instead of leaking all over the place. Worse, that grit can nick the nozzle so it can't get a good seal even on a clean Zerk, and dirt is what tractors are all about. Blaster Engine Degreaser softened the dirty grease around the Zerks so it could be washed away. I did try it on blasted on diesel soot on my loader and bucket but it wasn't very effective on that. I also sprayed part of the gears on my bicycle and thought it did a nice job loosening the grit and oil grease that builds up from riding on stone paths.

    Great Degreaser
The Blaster Heavy-Duty Engine Degreaser is a very good degreasing product. We used it on an old garden roto tiller and an older walk behind lawn mower. My husband sprayed the degreaser on to the tiller and left it sit for about 5 minutes. Then, using an old tooth brush and a little elbow grease, he cleaned it easily. He then did the same thing on the lawn mower. Sprayed the degreaser on, let it sit for 5 minutes or so, used a little elbow grease and a tooth brush, and it looks so much better. Both are all cleaned up without much effort. I would recommend using this product in an open area because the smell is pretty strong, but it works! I would definitely recommend this product.

    Not impressed
Sorry Folks, the best I can do is 3 Stars for a few reasons. #1) The nozzle and propellant shoot a stream much too strong. Please see the photos which were taken at a distance of 4 feet from nozzle to pole. This would splatter all over the engine compartment hitting unintended parts. The spray should have a foaming agent to keep the chemical where you spray it letting it soak in instead of running off the surface. #2) The directions are more marketing rather than informational. Petroleum distillates are enemies of rubber hoses, painted surfaces and automotive wiring. You would not want to leave splattered degreaser on these surfaces for 10 minutes as directed to remove grease. It would be difficult to hit all of the greasy engine without coating these items as well. #3) The spray did not remove the grease with just a hose and jet nozzle. (please see photos). I used a nylon scrub brush to achieve the results in the photos. 3 Stars

Cuts the Grease, but Strong Chemical Smell
The Blaster - Blaster Heavy-Duty Engine Degreaser works well as a degreaser. I sprayed it on a bicycle cog and after letting it soak for a few minutes, the grease easily wiped off. However, it does put off a strong chemical smell and is flammable, so use with good ventilation and away from flames. It would be more effective if it came with a nozzle to help direct the spray.

    SDS Is Required Reading
Yes Blaster works but you really should read the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) that the manufacturer provides for this product. That being said and if you follow the Blaster use instructions printed on the can you should be good to go. Simply spray it on and wait ten minutes. After ten minutes you can hose it off with water. Although I liked the results it could have been better if I had used a brush to scrub through the thicker deposits.

Efficient degreaser for oily surfaces, not as efficient for baked-on grease
This degreaser works very well on oily surfaces, like the crank case vent tube in a 1959 Olds. After spraying it on, and waiting 15min it rinsed right off and surface can be dried. It required two applications on surfaces with baked-on grease and oil. Due to it's oily consistency it does not evaporate quickly and does not attack paints, which makes it useful for many applications, like the old automotive tester we had in the shop. Plexiglass, dial and metal housing cleaned up well. For comparison, the image shows the lower right of the tester degreased, the remainder is as found after 40 years!

Engine Degrease does a good job
I used the Blaster Heavy-Duty Engine Degreaser to clean a lawn edger given to me by my neighbor. I wasn’t sure how the engine degreaser would work because there was 20 years’ worth of dust and dirt mixed in with oil on the engine. I sprayed the engine and let it sit for the prescribed 10 minutes and then washed it off with a garden hose. Most of the oil and built up dirt came off, but since it was so thick at some places it did not remove everything. I thought of spraying a second coat and washing the engine a second time, but I it didn’t want to wet the engine too much and it was much cleaner than when I began. I found that the spray dripped quite a bit of liquid from the nozzle. I didn’t expect this and got some of the engine degreaser on my pants and shoes. Otherwise, I think the Blaster Heavy-Duty Engine Degreaser worked pretty well. I do recommend this product and plan to use it to clean the engine on my garden tractor. And best of all, it is made in America!

    Two coats needed
I got this tp clean 17 years worth of grease and Grime build up on my 2005 Pontiac grand am. I did take before pictures but all you could see was black disgusting grease. It didn't even look like an engine. I'm going to do a second spray down to get the little bit of grease and Grime that remains. This engine degreaser has a pretty strong smell so I personally recommend wearing a chemical respirator to protect your lungs. I do have lung disease so naturally I have to be more careful when using these types of products. All and all it did a dang good job. I'm happy with it.
