Is there any directions? Just received, missing one plug. I can live with that but, is there any connection to the top one with the bottom ones?
Asked by: NervousNelly
I did not get any directions with mine either. Very frustrating!

Will it fit on a plastic railing where the top of it is sort of rounded

Asked by: David
Yes, if you are referring to the "deck boards" that replace traditional 1" x 6" planking. No if you are referring to TRUE round boards, i.e. handrails etc. would require total balancing.

Does the piece that sits on top drip into the lower pots so no water hits the wooden rail?
Asked by: CatLover
yes it is designed that way. It has channels on the three bottom pieces that allows water runoff from the top planter to run side ways and into the bottom planters.

21 in. Terra Cotta Milano Plastic Deck Rail Planter (4 piece) is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 118.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from not quite designed correctly While there are no assembly instructions included, the top planter, when mounted over the three base planters, falls substantially short. One would think the top planter would cover the width of the planters below it. Also, The top planter is not fastened in any manner to the planters below. Depending on where it’s used, the top planter could easily tip over and blow away

It just sat on top with nothing to keep it in place. I thought it would slid off in a strong wind or if it was bumped. I returned it.

However, I had to modify to keep parts together because I didn't want to attach to the railing with screws. I can move to other locations with out leaving screw holes.

Good sturdy planters and all 4 components arrived well packaged, however, there is no way that the container that is shown on top of the 3 deck containers will fit as shown. We are using the deck planters for herbs which are doing really well and will find a use for the upper planter as well.

The top cross planter blew off in a storm. It needs to be attached to the lower planter sections. The lower planters are good for rail top planters and would look great with flowers.

The top planter also shades on side of my potted plants in the sideways planters. I purchased two but I'm going to return one of them.

I felt that if someone knocks into the planter or one strong wind hits the top planter would fall. They should have a way to secure the top pot to lower pots. Bad design

We ended up screwing the "top" pot to the bottom ones so it doesn't get blown over. The top to bottom connection is where this design is lacking
