About This Product

Spice up your culinary creations with the homegrown herbal flavor of Bonnie Plants Rosemary. You'll love the convenience of harvesting fresh rosemary straight from your garden or containers and adding the perfect flavor to your favorite meals and baked treats. Add a pot just outside the kitchen for convenient meal-time harvest, or use it to create a pretty border along a path and savor the fragrance as you pass. The highly aromatic herb tastes delicious flavoring meats, breads, cookies, crackers, cheese, and even oils and vinegars. Rosemary's flavor tastes stronger fresh than dried, so snip it often to promote new growth. Rosemary grows beautifully in containers, raised beds, or in-ground gardens and is suitable as a perennial in USDA zones 8 to 10. A heat-tolerant herb, rosemary should be grown in full sun and well-drained soil. Rosemary grows 24 to 36 in. tall. Be sure to water your plant when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch, and feed it regularly with Miracle-Gro Plant Food. With more than 100 years of experience, Bonnie Plants offers high-quality live plant varieties designed for your gardening success.

caret
Q:What size planters should be used?
by|Oct 29, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question

A:  Rosemary can be grown in containers. Make sure to choose one with holes. Rosemary will need good drainage, without it the roots will rot. Choose a container at least 12 inches in diameter and at least 8 inches deep.

Q:your description calls it an 'annual'. seriously?
    by|Oct 12, 2023
    1 Answer
    Answer This Question

A:  Rosemary is a perennial in zones 7-10. In other zones rosemary will not survive the cold winter temperatures, so it would be annual in these areas.

      Are they really rosemary?
Just received my rosemary plants and once I opened them, first thing I thought, this isn’t rosemary. It has no fragrance at all. Touched the leaves and no residual smell on my hands. I already have one planted, so I compared the plants. The leaves are bigger than my plant. It is similar leaf but bigger and no smell. Is this normal? They've arrived healthy looking. I know there are different varieties, so maybe that's it?

Not even CLOSE to pic got (2) 1 1/2" tall springs
I LITERALLY got 2 plants. Each was ONE sprig about 1 - 1 1/2" tall. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO PICTURE ~ ! I COULD have bought fresh at the store, out them in water, waited 3 weeks & potted them for $3.99. Waste of my time $ and effort. DO NOT BUY ~ !!!!

Died after 4 days. They looked a little stressed when they arrived, but I thought they would bounce back after watering but they did not.
