Q:Is this what is known as culinary lavender, in that I can use it in baked items and drinks?
    by|Jun 13, 2023
    1 Answer
    Answer This Question

A:  The Bonnie Plants Lavender can be Spanish or English. Spanish lavender is edible but tends to be bitter and antiseptic in taste because of its high camphor content. English Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) is a better choice for culinary use and has a slightly sweet, floral flavor.

Q:is it already in a drier soil for lavender or do i need to transplant it to different soil?
        by|Jun 6, 2023
        1 Answer
        Answer This Question

A:  You will need to replant your lavender into a larger container or the ground for the season. Lavender survives well in dry conditions, so you'll only have to water when the top 2 inches of soil are dry.

These plants were all in bad shape and did not survived. Days later I bought some at the local store and they are fine - you can see one of them in the picture of the dead ones.

              They Died
We ordered these and were hopeful they would be great like most Bonnie products we buy. We waited the 48 hours before replanting in a bigger pot and with in days they began to die. We were very disappointed. I would not reccomend ordering these online.

                8 dead w/in 2 weeks
Purchased 8 lavendar, along with some lemon balm and chives, as companions for fruit bushes. The lemon balm and chives are doing great. Unfortunately all 8 lavendar which arrived in weak shape, did not survive. Followed instructions and tended to them. Will seek refund.

                    Alive, but hopefully still well
The plants all arrived a bit worse for wear. The soil is still moist so I’m hoping some time in the sun will bring them into shape.
