You'd be much better off in paying a few dollars more and getting a young or mature Bonsai. These take 5 to 7 years to grow, and as much as 8 months just to sprout enough to do anything with. I was Leary of the seeds, as they were all in one packet, with no extra in the event of corruption, bad or lost seeds.

Poor seed quality, VERY limited number of seeds (in the event one or more is corrupted). Takes WAY to long to grow. You're better off finding a young or mature Bonsai and paying the extra.

Out of the many seeds (approx. 28) that I attentively cared for and planted, only 4 seeds of one tree variety actually sprouted. I followed the instructions to completely. The 4 sprouts eventually died. It seemed like a lot of dirt for the seeds as the instructions said to keep moist but not saturated. If I watered the sprouts before I went to work, when I returned home the dirt at the top of the pot was completely dried out where the bottom was saturated. I wasn't sure if I ended up overwatering or underwatering the sprouts when they eventually died (the sprouts were totally green when they died so could have been dead for a while).
