How can you make such a good and high technology tool and you you don't add shadow line or laser??? Would that really increase the price ?? I was about to get it. Pitty. That is a deal breaker! Very disappointed!
Don’t let the Bosch answer to your question fool you into thinking they haven’t gotten this feedback for years. It defies logic they have not added this feature. They would literally sell 2x as many of these saws.
Bosch was the first manufacturer to offer a laser on their miter saw. Professional carpenters, millworkers. and cabinet makers did not like the feature the majority of the Bosch purchasers are professionals they discontinued the laser feature.

How much side deflection is there in the mechanism when saw is extended?
