The Bosch GSS20-40 1/4 in. Sheet Orbital Finishing Sander delivers even sanding and long tool life, with a precision-machined aluminum sanding plate. It has a beefy 2.0 Amp motor that produces up to 12,000 oscillations per minute (OPM), delivering uniform and smooth results on all surfaces. AnswersHi Ed, yes it has what I guess is the Bosch Standard connector. I have another Bosch Sander and I have a Bosch Shop-Vac hose. this little sander fits right onto the hose with the permanent connector which is where the shown dust collector attaches. Hope this helps!

Very good paper clamps and low vibration for this type of sander. The dust container should screw on instead of relying on an O ring. Hooking up a vacuum for dust collection is questionable.

it works fine. it's simple machine. the biggest problem is the wire bails that grip the sandpaper...
it works fine. it's simple machine. the biggest problem is the wire bails that grip the sandpaper. one bent very easily. i had to bend it back with some pliers so now i watch it closely to be sure the paper doesn't come loose.

I don’t know how the product worked. It arrived via mail without any packaging. The product had been previously used and covered in dust. I immediately returned it. Home Depot did not carry this model in the store, so I could not exchange the item.
