Not tempered, too soft
I have a manual slide hammer type jackhammer that I use to chip away limestone ledge that protrudes from the trails I make on my property. After the first use of about 1/2 hour, the point had mushroomed over into a flat 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch square. I re sharpened it and again it flattened after 15 minutes of use. The previous point I had used for 20 years was much superior. It wore very slowly and never mushroomed over. I am 67 years old so my arm should not be able to over power this point. I have other Bosch tools and appliances which are good but this product is substandard to the point of actually being useless.
