          A:  It should cut just fine as long as the blade is long enough. If the door is unusually thick, you may have to cut each side individually.

              I had read online that people kept several spare blades for their roof-top fan projects on vans so I bought the pack. However, one blade was plenty and it easily gave me a good clean edge with the jig saw. I then turned around and cut open a tin can opening on my grandson's hobo stove project. Let me tell you, this blade is the fastest can opener I've ever used! Although these projects weren't much of a challenge for this blade, it sure made these two jobs easy and fast for me.
