The Bosch GOP40-30B StarlockPlus Oscillating Multi-Tool Kit includes a tool that has the Starlock next-generation 3-D tool-accessory interface, which produces best-in-class accessory grip, making it the new professional standard in oscillating tool performance. With more contact surface area between the tool and accessory, the Starlock interface is a cupped 3-D tool-accessory connection that delivers greater torque transfer for an expanded work capacity. The no-touch blade-change system makes it easy to attach, remove or reposition blades. The professional-grade 4.0 Amp motor delivers a top speed of up to 20,000 oscillations per minute and the tool provides a 3.0 oscillating arc.

Great starting kit - Bosch delivers again
This is a terrific starting kit for any DIYer who wants to get an oscillating tool that is going to last. As with any Bosch product, the quality of the product gives an immediate reassuring feeling. For instance, the finish is super solid, the attachments can be swapped in seconds and with ease, it does the job very well, and it is rather quiet.
Using the tool as a sander is particularly convenient for small surfaces. The tool does not blow dust everywhere rather, it creates some small piles of compact dust, which is so user-friendly that you can actually sand in your own kitchen/living room without bringing the shop vac. The triangle shape of the sander version allows you to get into the corners, and again, it is super quiet.
The cutting tool works fine with metal, it is very useful to go into places where large tools cannot. Highly recommend for quality. Nonetheless, be aware that purchasing additional blades requires some budget planning, but again, this is the price of quality products.

So many uses for this tool
I've used this tool to cutout subfloor right next to the stud. I've used the sander to sand the inside of small wooden boxes I've built and to get into the corners and edges. I've used it to trim wood. Cut drywall to fit around a electrical box. Can't think of all the uses that I have used this tool for and have never been disappointed. Easy to handle and fits the grip of your hand nicely. No real force needed to make this tool work. Easy to change out the tool ends. The tool piece just snaps down into the head of the tool. When you want to remove it just pull on the removal handle and it pops right out. That is a big upgrade from the other tools like this. No more using a hex wrench or losing the wrench. This has a nice LED work light on the front to help see what you are doing. Other than that this tool is a must for most workshops. Really glad to have one in mine.

well built sturdy product, straightforward to use. There is a problem with finding the star-lock blades, the big box stores fail to keep blades in stock, probably because the blades are not interchangeable with other multi-tool brands.

I own a dremel ez lock which at the time was in my budget. It lasted me about 1 year, modestly used and the Bosch was more expensive, however I do not regret the purchase very smooth. You get what you pay for, I will see in 1 year from know for the modest use.
