The Bosch GTL3 Wall/Floor Covering Laser is designed to make tile installation and other installation easier and faster. Bosch asked flooring contractors how a laser layout tool could make their work easier, and the GTL3 is the solution. It generates layout lines at 0° and 90° from a single setup. The highly visible laser beams are elevated to go past several objects, and the laser has a strong magnet and a steel positioning plate for maximum versatility. Select 0° and 90° degrees lines plus optional 45° degree layout line at the press of a button. This layout laser provides 0°, 45°, 90° and 135° layout lines from a single setup point.

what is the accuracy rating on this unit

AnswersThe accuracy is not specified by the manufacturer. However, I can tell you that based on experience it is accurate to 1/32" over 28 feet. I highly recommend this tool as it has made many a job easier for me in assuring straight and parallel lines. Hope this helps.
Can I use this in a day light and how much distance can I see

AnswerThank you for your question. The GTL3 is not self leveling. This layout laser comes comes with a leveling plate then use a level to fix the leveling plate flat on the surface.

Battery corroded inside device
This thing is new..... recently purchased it for a floor tile job. Powered it up to test it, then left the batteries inside.
About a few weeks later when i was ready for doing the tile it would not power on. I looked inside and the battery compartment was corroded. I tried to clean it, but still will not power on. Lot of money down the drain. Not happy at all with Bosch.
