It’s funny that I’m calling a trash can pretty. But it is. I bought it for my garage which I recently renovated. I have metal black and red storage cabinets and tool boxes which match perfectly with my new trash can. I put an automotive themed sticker on it and it elevated the look even more. The construction and materials are very good quality. I ordered the custom bags for it and they fit perfectly. They cost more than regular trash bags that don’t fit as well but I don’t mind paying the premium, I like nice things. I highly recommend it. Very happy with my purchase. And, Home Depot had it for less than other retailers. Win win.

Unlike the last can I had, the inner bin comes out easily and it's the perfect size for me. Splurged on the extra skinny and tall bags that fit perfectly and don't fall down. Love the red color that matches other kitchen items, and the price was reasonable compared to others that didn't seem as well made.

Brabantia 8 Gal (kitchen size) Mint Steel Step On Trash Can. Several thing I really like about the can, first and foremost my wife loves the color mint, that’s good, secondly the lid closes softly (read slowly) so it doesn’t slap shut and stops vertical when open, saving your walls, and lastly the slim plastic liner with handle that is easy to remove and empty. Now, I’m a little disappointed that there is no room to hid the zip handles on normal kitchen bags inside ( out of view) in the can so when pulled over the top it prevents the lid from sealing properly. I also think it is alittle pricey for a kitchen trash can, so I’m holding on to that receipt as it does have 10 year warranty on mechanical parts.

This is a really great trashcan. I am so happy with the "Brabantia 8 Gal. Metallic Mint Steel Step-On Trash Can, in Green. It emerges from the box ready to use. The step mechanism works seamlessly and silently each and every time. It is ideal as a kitchen trash can because the fit when is is closed prevents odors from escaping. The color is a beautiful and unusual shade of green that adds to the decor.

This is just the right size capacity for our dining room. And the Steel mint finish is unique and quite appealing. Our color choice being green. The pedal is amazingly easy to open and when released it gentle closes never slamming the lid. The wife and I have literally played with it for sometime placing it in different locations and pushing the pedal in amazement as how well and quiet it works each and every time. The unit has a 10-year guarantee and it came with three perfect fit bags that fit the unit exactly right. I will be going to Home Depot tomorrow to purchase additional bags for future use which they keep in stock. 100 or 60 count. I am highly Satisfied with this Step-On trash container and highly would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice dependable trash can. The Brabantia 8 gallon step-on trash can is surprisingly taller than I thought it was going to be. It stands at a normal trash can height, in my opinion. I am quite happy with its size and functionality. It's user-friendly. To lift the lid, there's a hands-free step pedal and as an added bonus, the lid is a soft-close and doesn't just slam down hard. This can came with a sample pack of plastic can liners which was a nice added bonus as well but for future use, a regular 13-gallon size liner will work just fine. There's an inside black sturdy plastic trash can that lifts out easily for easy cleaning. It is easy to place back inside the metal can. The 8-gallon size is perfect for those who can't lift the full weight of a 13-gallon full bag of trash. Having 8 gallons helps me to not overfill This trash can comes with a 10-year guarantee.

The metallic mint green finish on this Brabantia trash can is so attractive that we really don’t mind it setting out in the open in our kitchen. We like the foot pedal opener so that we don’t have to touch the lid when our hands are sticky or messy. The soft close lid seals tightly preventing any foul odors from escaping. Keeping the interior plastic bucket clean is easy since it is removable for washing. We save some money by buying standard “tall kitchen” trash bags, but instead of snapping on like the Brabantia bags, we have to “tuck” the flaps over the rim as we insert the bin back into the can. After doing it a few times it got easier and it really isn’t a bother now.

Very very nice trash can. Got this especially for my garage which was just renovated so this stylish yet practical trash can fits in beautifully! Love the matte black color and the height is just right. The convenience of the step on feature is perfect for the garage cause it is too pretty to touch it with dirty hands. Seems to be very well made and durable which will be necessary for its use. Does take special “G” size bags (3 are included) which are easy to find. Overall, great functional trash can.

My wife and I are very happy with this 8 gallon step-on trash container by Brabantia. This is the first trash container of this type that we have used. We are pleased with how quickly and quietly the lid opens and closes compared to other brands we have seen over the years. The unit comes with three trash bags that fit perfectly around the lip of the inner container which is easily removed and reinstalled. The overall appearance of the container is non-obtrusive, and the white color version we selected blends well with our kitchen décor. See attached photographs.

The product shipped with three specially made Brabantia trash bags that are a perfect fit, however, bargain tall kitchen bags work as well with a little adjusting at the top. The can is a slender 11 1/2" inches in diameter and doesn't accommodate some of the larger items I often toss, but those now go out to the larger trash bin that I take to the curb each week.
