BrassCraft 1/2 in. nominal (5/8 in. O.D.) Shallow escutcheon for used with copper water distribution pipe. Escutcheons are ideal for concealing gaps around the water supply pipe extending from the wall or floor. The escutcheon should be installed prior to water shut-off valve installation. Polished chrome finish coordinates beautifully with most bathroom fixtures and accessories.

Does it come split to go around existing pipe ?

Answersyes it does. the chrome one has a hinge made from a crimp and is flat and ugly. you can split a regular chrome one with tin snips or split a white plastic one with tin snips and look better. just put the split on the bottom. note, this chrome one should only be about $1.50 each.

Sturdy stainless steel with chrome finish, used it to replace cheap builder installed ones (along with replacing the cheap nylon tubes) comes at a great price and has a lovely shine to it
