yes, it will work for hat water.
I connected the large end to the new faucet and the little end to the new angle stop. There are no directional valves inside the tubes like a backflow preventer. So, yes, I assume you could swap the connecting points.
If it didn't leak when you turned the water back on, then it was enough. I tightened it quite a bit more ... until the male threads were fully seated. I used this connector with all new faucets and angle stops.
I would refer to the manufacturer's web site for specific health and safety information.
Not sure what your question means, but here goes. If you're looking for a similar hose but with PEX tubing in the middle, no, we don't. If you're looking to connect either end of the hose to any size of PEX, yes we have fittings that we could cobble into a connection between this hose and PEX tubing. We also have angle (& straight) stops that connect to PEX.
The difference is the jacket material. Both are quite tough, but the braided polymer is much more resistant to crimping when bent in a tight circle.
No. A garden hose uses a 3/4" connection.
I could find no time limit except that, on the product, the label states: "Do not reuse connector. Inspect annually. Replace if deterioration is detected or after 12 years." This implies, at least to me, that the product should last at least 12 years. More interesting to me, though, is the admonition not to reuse the product, so I'd have to believe that the warranty extends until the first time the product is removed or 12 years, whichever is shorter. Personally, I've never experienced or heard of a failure of this product when installed on clean machined parts without defective threads.
Hello John, This is BrassCraft and you would have to contact the help desk at Home Depot fr the availability in their store. Thank you, BrassCraft
I would visit with a Home Depot Pro in the plumbing department for specific means to joint these two dissimilar metals.
