BrassCraft Speedi Plumb PLUS 3/8 in. compression inlet x 1/2 in. female iron pipe outlet x 20 in. of length flexible braided polymer water connector is corrosion resistant inside and out. Used to connect the water supply to your faucet, this connector features a high tenacity, multi-filament yarn, protected by a special polymer coating for optimum corrosion resistance and durability. On the inside, our tough PVC tubing resists attack by chlorine, chloramines and other corrosive elements. The braided polymer fibers are designed to bend freely without kinking or crimping. Use to hookup cold or hot water supply.
  • 20 in. of length connector with 3/8 in. compression connection to water shut-off valve
  • Use with faucets with 1/2 in. MIP water connection; metal nut
  • Bends freely, without kinking or crimping, installation is easier, especially in cramped quarters
  • External corrosion resistance to common household, tile and glass cleaners
  • Internal corrosion resistance to harsh water conditions
  • 8-sided pneumatic crimp for greater dependability and reliable nut-to-hose connections

    A:  for small valves under your sink for the sink it should be 3/8" and if its a large valve, such as the washing machine, then its 1/2". You have to know the size of the valve or fittings you are using.

          Q:The 1/2" connections to the faucet leak. I have tried remaking the joints several times but they always leak slowly from the top of the nut. I have carefully cleaned the nipples on the faucet and there are no burrs or pits. What can I do to fix this?

          A:  use thread sealant or teflon tape and you should be fine.

              A:  I have been doing/replacing these types water lines for 15-20 years and have found these to be very help full and fast, if you ever have a leak with one of these. Change it with a new one, they are designed to fit with nothing. The rubber is wore out!

                A:  Bought mine a week ago, installed quickly and have had zero problem with leaking. I put newspaper under it for several days just to be sure. No drips. Tightened connection with hand wrench.Maybe turn off and allow to dry and try some silicone sealant.
