I was concerned about using this product because of the reviews, but I was pretty desperate to find something to cover some ugly plaster in the bathroom in one of my rental units. I did notice what others mentioned in that it tears easily when wet which is why I waited until it dried to cut any overhang (the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5). Once dry it was very easy to cut with a sharp knife. And when it was painted it looked great!

We used it to cover damaged soffit area. It was easy to hang and paint over. It was the perfect solution for our project. It was the last roll at Home Depot and I hope they restock this product. Highly recommend.

Rips easy . Cant even cut with sharp blade without ripping.

A little dissatisfied with the quality. Ripped while applying to the wall . Would not purchase again.

Over this past year I’ve painted at least six rental units myself and I’m so sick of painting that I decided to try this wallpaper as an alternative to covering up a bathroom wall I did not follow the directions I didn’t even read them but I watched several videos about putting a wallpaper such as this and I decided after evaluating the material that it would probably be best if I just use a sponge in a spray bottle to wet the back of the paper I found that if I highly saturated the wall with the spray bottle In pre-creased the sides of the wallpaper so I had something to hold onto at the edges I was able to place the panels up on the wall without any difficulty and then could smooth them out accordingly. I did end up cutting the strips in the small panels because I was doing it by myself and it just made it easier to work with him I filled those small seams in later with spackling, this worked out well and it’s very hard to even see them today. Working with small cut off panels can be a little nerve-racking because you don’t know how it’s gonna look ultimately but it’s so much easier to work with especially if you’re doing this alone and especially if you by chance catch some bubbling I need to adjust slightly to release that air it’s so much easier with smaller pieces. I found it was great at covering small imperfections in the walls and as far as cutting off the edges you absolutely positively have to wait at least several days before you do that because if it’s at all moist in anyway you will rip the edges I did do this a couple times but I really didn’t care because I just went in with spackling and with the pattern being sort of random (I purposely avoided the paper with the distinct shapes and patterns and got the one with the random spots that kind of look like an animal print) it was really hard to tell that there was any sort of imperfection. Its actually really easy to work with once you figure out the best way for you to get it wet (i would not reccomend soaking it makes it difficult and harder to work with). Watch some YouTube videos first you’ll be fine!

We've used this product many times and nothing else compares.

It worked well except for the fact that some of the underlayment bled through the paper leaving a stain on the surface of the paper. Results would have been better had the surface first been painted with primer.

Easily tears when wet.

It was hard to work with. It tore easily when applying to the walls and when cutting around door frames after drying also. However once painted, it did look nice but it was frustrating getting the larger pieces onto the wall. It is way too thin.
