Anything but Brilliant
Brilliant system is anything but brilliant. quality control is horrible. Installation from an electrician's stand point is horrendous. You must reconfigure the wiring on any standard three way system. We installed dozens of these and regret it each time. Devices have trouble connecting and once on the system, they fall off the network randomly. Replacing a device requires reprogramming all devices affiliated. dimmer bad on 3-way w/ a screen w/ 2 other 3-ways = reprogram everything. Buy Lutron.

Not happy at all
Needs a hub to work. Was told by a Brilliant rep that this switch did not need a central hub to work. I got to my customers home to install these switches and could not do the install because the switch requires a central hub to communicate. This is not a good thing for installers. It makes them look like they don’t know what they are doing.

My wife used to leave the lights on all over...
My wife used to leave the lights on all over the house. In combination with Alexa. This light switch has reduce my electric bill substantially. It was easy to install and it also makes a great night light with the built-in LED.

Love Brilliant tech
I have one controller and 3 smart dimmers from Brilliant. Easy to set up and use. Works well with my other smart devices. Will continue to add to system as I compete rooms in my renovation. Great features!

The Brilliant Smart dimmer does require the home control system...
The Brilliant Smart dimmer does require the home control system but the dimmer switch is great and easy to use. If you are using a dimmable bulb you can just slide your finger to where you want the brightness to be. Works well with HomeKit and google

Inconsistent product and poor customer service
Installed 5 dimmer switches in my house and they worked fine for 6 weeks. Then we wake up one day and all are disconnected from the network…not one of them will allow me to turn off the light it is connected to. Being as 4 of the 5 are the load side of the switch, now none of these lights can be turned off from any switch associated with these dimmers.
No resolution from brilliant support and frustrating app made the whole system not worth it. Avoid!

Great switches, but THEY REQUIRE A VERY EXPENSIVE HUB UNIT...
Great switches, but THEY REQUIRE A VERY EXPENSIVE HUB UNIT to fully function. Without it, they’re just on/off switches. After re examining the description, I found a fleeting mention of this fact buried in the specifications. Very disappointed.
