Easy to install, went smoothly. Not very happy with the sound output from the fan. It seems loude...
Easy to install, went smoothly.
Not very happy with the sound output from the fan. It seems louder at times than others, and has a humming sound. Possibly caused by mounting it? Perhaps it is accentuated by the drywall and ceiling joists that it is mounted to?

Swapped a ceiling fan for this
I swapped a ceiling fan/light out with this product. The electrical was preexisting and I have no knowledge of connecting the correct wires. Wiring tips I learned on this project (no videos, I searched), blue/black/black, white/white/white, green/ground. This is done on a single switch.

better than fan from Lowes
originaly bought a broan fan from lowes, fan was very noisy with excessive vibration.returned fan to lowes after a few days.bought this fan from home depot,big differance,noise level alot lower,no excesse vibration,only here fan moving air.

Replacement
Bought this to replace existing Nutone. It fit right in! Didn't have to make any modifications. Update version looks great. Works so much better. Bought the model up for a long run with the vent pipe. It is really taking care of the moisture from showers. I plan to buy another one to replace another. Seems to be a bit more quiet than our old one as well.

We appreciate the time you took to share your review of your model 769RL. Thank you! The 763RLN and 769RL both fit into the same housing box, but their power unit assemblies are different. The 763RLN is a 50 CFM fan unit and the 769RL is a 70 CFM fan unit.
