Perfect in every way
We are incredibly pleased with our Brookside Amelia CalKing Bed Frame. It feels perfect in every way -- good-looking, comfortable, and sturdy. My husband and I teamed up to put it together, and we aren't super handy, we felt successful at every step. At the end of putting it together, I noticed a flaw in one of the pieces, so I reached out to Brookside and they graciously sent me a new part. PERFECT in every way!

Good bed but a bit short
I purchased this bed frame for a king size bed. I have a tempurpedic mattress with box spring underneath. After building it, I saw that the bed frame is too small for this type of mattress. Perhaps if I removed the box spring it would be a good height but I believe the temperpedic requires the box spring -- not sure. However, the bed itself is nice quality. With 10 being very difficult, I would rate difficulty of assembling it a 5/10. There were some moments where the pictures did not make sense

Poor Quality
Bed is of really low quality and craftsmanship, not in line with HD standards.
Instructions are 25% incorrect (both words and pics) so you end up just having to figure it out.
Screws are of varying length and the don’t send the right amount of each one so you end up having to use super long screws that stick out a bit and can rub up against the wall
The slats don’t reach from one side to the other, so the bed slumps on the edges, the wood splits when screwed in.

Sturdy
Let me start off by saying when I first opened the box I said to myself wow there’s no way this will be sturdy or not break it’s gonna have to go back. My husband and I put the bed together and were shocked by the sturdiness of this bed frame. Everything fits together the way it should and there is no noises when tossing and turning or kids jumping on the bed. I was pleasantly impressed. The end legs are plastic as well as the side legs.

Beautiful, easy to assemble
This bed was super easy to assemble. It took less than an hour and came with the Allen wrench needed. The slats are attached with a strap and have predrilled holes to simplify it even more. The fabric is nice and looks great in my room. Beautiful bed.

Sturdy bed
Ordered this for spare bedroom.Is definitely modern w/ a classy twist.Stone color is pleasing to the eye.Made from sturdy material with padding all around.Assembled by myself as instructions were clear and all parts were labeled.Only a mattress is needed.

Great addition to girls room
Good sturdy material with padding all around this adorable bed. Easy to put together with clear instructions and labeled parts. We chose to use a box spring and mattress for extra height, but only a mattress is needed as this is a platform bed.

Great bed

Just as expected
Bed arrived in great condition. Nothing broken or scratched. Packaged well. Fabric is beautiful. Came with all screw packages. No missing parts. Assembly was easy. The instructions were ok. We were able to figure it out. Took no longer than a half hour. The slats seem not very sturdy. We hope they last. The only thing i wish was this bed to be taller. It is our first platform bed. Its low for us. Wish it had taller legs. That's the only disappointment.
