Yes, but putting it on and off repeatedly would eventually wear out the gasket, and it would leak.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An upgrade to the standard faucet! Our sink doesn't have a sprayer like our old sink had. I came to the Depot to find a replacement aerator... long story short, I switched to an adapter that I could attach a garden hose. It didn't work and I never changed it back to the old aerator since I lost it. I had multiple pieces around the house that looked like it went to the aerator and it never fit. It was time to do something about this. I really like the lever on this that allows you to turn the water on/off. The stream isn't overly strong but not terribly weak either (1.5 gallons per minute flow). I'm okay with that. I have a two basin sink and it swivels sufficiently to help me rinse the sink down after using it. When installing it, I first thought it wouldn't fit my faucet. After running back to the Depot to get the proper adapter, I realized that it did fit, I just had to pull out the really big washer that was inside. Once I did that, it fit like a charm with no tools needed to install.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cheaper than a new faucet I had the replace the screen and water saver that is on the faucet end. I began to look at how this product functioned and realized it would suit me a lot better. The swivel and sprayer allow me to clean out my whole sink by just moving it around or wash produce with the spray function a whole lot faster. I did have to use 2 washers when I installed it so be prepared to work with it. But the washers come with it. It allows good strong pressure so your dish soap will foam up fast.
