I purchased a couple orders of this maple S4S and it was just fine for cabinet face-frame buildin...
I purchased a couple orders of this maple S4S and it was just fine for cabinet face-frame building. Like any wood, sometimes you get some twists or bowing, and there was some minor amount of that in a couple pieces, but overall it was a decent product. Most of the time all I had to do was sand the edge side to remove some minor planing marks.

I purchased this Maple board for a specific reason. It was packaged very good. I didn't unwrap it until I was going to use it expecting the board to be what the add said it was. When I did unwrap it I was surprised to see that at least 12 inches on one end wasn't surfaced and tapered down from 4" to about 3". In the center of the board was a knot about 2" around with tear out all around it. The board wasn't usable for the purpose I had in mind.

Good but not perfect. some boards were half green, Its a good thing they were tp be painted after sanding out the board "snipe" and Planer blade chatter marks.

Not hard maple. Not clear. Red or swamp maple at best, dark sapwood, knot structurally weakened the board to the point of breaking. Very poor quality. Junk.

I expected clear hard maple. This was red or soft maple with too much very dark figure completely covering the wood. I couldn’t use it and returned it.

Almost there for quality
OK, but some really rough spots I could not sand out enough for finish side. Also, why stick on label I can't peel off without glue remaining????
