Was a perfect vent for the ceiling of my tiered roof octagon gazebo. Used it as a vent on the top...
Was a perfect vent for the ceiling of my tiered roof octagon gazebo. Used it as a vent on the top of the second tier where air can flow up and out through the cupola. Finished the inside face of the ceiling with vinyl siding which made an overall perfect no maintenance finish.

Size is deseptive
I had an 18"' vent, that I was replacing, which had an 18" opening. They are not clear in the specs. what the opening is, they list it at 1/2 of the opening size. They should have a drawing and exploded view of the product for clarification. For my 18" hole situation, I would have needed a 25" or 27" vent. It took almost two weeks to get the wrong part because of a lack of information on the web site.

The window planters box was not described well & supports for the box were unclear.
I would recommend the planters box but I would the shutters & vents
