Hi-Visibility Neck Shade

This shade is far superior to the home-made shade I had been using. It not only shades my neck, but wraps around to shade my ears without totally covering my ears to hinder my hearing. I wish I had worn such a shade when I sun burned my ears on a fishing trip. I feel much safer in the short term because of higher visibility, and in the long term because of protection from UV rays. The elastic band means I can easily use it in multiple situations. I can use it at work during the week on my construction helmet. On the weekends I can use it on my biking helmet. Since I can easily take it off, I will be able to wash it along with my other active wear items.

Great sunshade for working outdoors in the bright sun. This will do you absolutely no good in the winter or in the rain/wind since it is extremely well ventilated. It makes for a easy addition under or over a hat/hard hat. The elastic also keeps it in place very well while you are working and moving around. Sweat moves well and does not get sticky under the band.

The Bullard hi-visiblity neck shade in lime green provides a cooling effect by shading the neck from the sun when on the job site and is an additional element for the safety minded. The elastic band works well to attach to the suspension band inside a hard hat. The material is breathable with tiny holes to allow air to flow while keeping out the heat and light from the sun.

This is a review of the Bullard Hi-Visibility Neck Shade. Very creative solution to two issues. It is made of hi-visibility mesh fabric, very light weight. There is also a reflective strip on it as well. Defiantly hi-visibility day or night. There is an elastic band around the top to secure the neck shade to the bottom of a bump cap. Simple to put on or take off but very secure and comfortable. Excellent addition to a hat when working outdoors.

I have used these for years and won't work without them, all of my crew uses them. If you work outside protecting your skin should be a priority and these will help. We spend a fair amount of our time looking at the ground and these protect the backs of our necks. They will fit on standard or full brim hard hats of most manufacturers, I use it on a Bullard full brim. They last for a couple of years before they fade enough to need replacing and by then the elastic is getting tired and they start to come loose. I had people at may job sited over the years ask about them and usually see them wearing one the next time I see them.

This HI-VISIBILITY NECK SHADE works great. To install it, you just stretch the elastic ring around the brim of the hardhat and make shure it is centered so it’s it’s right at the back of your hardhat. Once positioned, you are ready for use. As you can see by the pictures, it does cover your neck and ears. It has a reflective strip on the bottom edge for high visibility. It is a very nice addition for the person who has to wear a hardhat and work out in the sun.

The Bullard hi-visibility neck shade is a great accessory for anyone doing a lot of outside work. The high-visibility design of it is great for people to see you easily and stand out. The best part of it is it helps keep the sun off of your neck. It still allows for air movement and cooling. The neck shade has a nice elastic band on it so it will fit a wide range of had size's. Definitely a must for anyone worried about getting sun burns.

I ride with the village bike three times per week, with the Florida sun it is easy to get burned. I have been looking for a neck shade that is light weight, highly visible and attaches to my bike helmet. The Bullard Hi Visability neck shade meets all of the requirements. It was a little tricky to secure it to the helmet, but I rode eighteen miles without loosing it. It also matches my shirt!

The head band fit my head nice and not to tight. The only problem I have with it is how much material you get to cover your ears. I have to adjust it so that it just covers each ear. There needs to be a little more material on the sides to cover the ears a little better. The mess material does help keep the air flowing through it to help keep you a little cooler.
