The Weather Master is an 18 in. H round illuminated outdoor wall clock with a 2-step metal case in oil rubbed bronze finish. The movement is sealed with a gasket for protection from outdoor elements. Arabic numerals and instrument graphics are printed with a light reflective ink, then covered with a clear acrylic diffusing overlay. 4 Strategically placed batter powered LED lights, controlled by a light sensor, illuminate at dusk and keep the dial visible until automatically shutting off at dawn. The hour and minute hands are luminescent for 24-hour viewing. The unit includes a thermometer with Fahrenheit and Celsius scales and a hydrometer, both also legible at night, as well as a protective gasket sealed glass lens.

Functional and attractive light for patio
This is the first clock I have found that features illumination in low-light conditions. It uses the normal AA battery for the clock, and 4 D-cell batteries for the illumination. Batteries are not included. Illumination comes from LEDs at the edge of the clock face. There is an on-off switch on the back controlling illumination. The clock includes temperature and humidity sensors. The batteries are protected by covers so this clock is suitable for use on walls with overhanging roof outdoors.

Timeless outdoor clock!
This is a huge clock which looks very vintage and classy. It is well built for outdoor use, to withstand the rough weather conditions. So far this clock has seen 3 rain showers and it has been doing great so far. The clock uses 1 AA battery and 4D batteries for the LED backlight (Not included). The clock is a little heavy and would need proper mounting. The big digits and hands make it easy to read from far off the backyard. The hygrometer and thermometer on the clock seem to be fairly accurate when comparing with the local weather channel. There is also a provision of backlit LED lights in case you want to use this clock at the night. The LEDs automatically light up when it becomes dark, using the inbuilt ambient light sensor. Overall, very pleased with this clock and would recommend this if you are looking for an outdoor clock.

A very beautiful Bulova Outdoor Clock and Weather Station displays time, temperature, and humidity in easy to read Arabic numerals. The large round metal case is finished in oil rubbed bronze and features a two-step depth configuration. An automatic sensor turns on at dusk and illuminates four battery powered LED lights until dawn the next morning. The numerals and instrument graphics are also printed with a light reflective ink, then covered with a clear acrylic diffusing overlay. The hour and minute hands are both luminescent Everything combined ensures easy to see, high visibility any time day or night. A hygrometer and thermometer are shown in their seperate areas on the lower part of the clock. The one AA battery runs the clock. The four D batteries run the LED lights. The shipping department took excellent care in providing enough cushioning to safely deliver it through the mailing process. The Bulova Clock Company offers an exceptionally high quality craftmanship. It is absolutely perfect in every way and really very beautiful.

Beautiful CLock
I initially ordered this clock for outside, but when I took it out of the box, I decided to keep in indoors. It has a clock function (of course), a thermometer, and a hygrometer. It takes an A cell for the clock function and 4 D cells for the LED illumination (yes it lights up at night).
A couple of setup notes: you need to initially switch the on/off switch for the LED. Afterwards, the light doesn't stay on all the time. There is a light sensor near the 7 hour and it illuminates only when it is dark. Also, you may need to adjust the thermometer and hygrometer, as noted in the instructions. My thermometer was off by 8F. Very easy to adjust, you just twist a "dial" on the back. I have no idea if the hygrometer is exact because I don't have another hygrometer to compare it too.

AWESOME High Quality Clock
Super impressed with this clock. It is made of high quality materials and is very simple to install, read and is VERY appealing to the eyes. I live in AZ and our outdoor clocks usually don't last much more than a year. I can tell already that this clock will last for MANY MANY years. The housing is very sturdy and doesn't "flex" at all. The face of the clock is very sturdy as well and I am impressed with the feeling of the clock face. The most awesome part of the entire clock has to be its night time appearance. I have attached pictures as my words won't do it justice.
Worth every penny!!!!

Good Quality Outdoor Clock
I don't know how I missed it when I ordered this clock, but it has great LED lighting that comes on at night via a tiny light sensor on the face. I love having it outside on our back patio to see what time it is when we are swimming in the pool or soaking in the jacuzzi. It is a sophisticated-looking clock, and also includes 2 smaller dials: one for humidity, one for temperature. It is sturdy and well-made. It takes a AA battery to run the clock function, and 4 D batteries for the LED lights. There are knobs to set the time and calibrate the humidity and temperature gauges. If you don't want to use the LED lights, there is an on/off switch on the back to change the setting. It's a great time piece.

Finally a Weather-proof Clock/Thermometer/Hygrometer
Having a weather-proof instrument that displays time, temp and humidity is a real bonus for my covered patio, especially one that is illuminated. The overall quality of the clock is up to Bulova's reputation - a quality piece, a little heavy with the four D batteries. The rubbed bronze case is substantive and well made. The face is vintage reminds me of the discolored tan/brown color reminiscent of tritium/radium luminescence and has a glass lens. The numerals also are vintage Arabic in style giving the appearance luminescence painted on each, including the hands (the ink is reflective). The dials of the thermometer and hygrometer also carry the same vintage style and almost appear to be the complications of a fine watch. The clock is very attractive and easy to read. After dusk, the clock face is illuminated by LED lights that subtly illuminate the face. I have a small clock/watch collection and so I really appreciate Bulova's attention to this detail. For historical reference I've attached a pic that draws the similarities with the clock as hung on my patio. So if you're looking for a functional instrument on your porch or patio, I recommend you consider this clock - it will certainly be topic of many discussions.

Hot and Cool!
It’s July, it’s HOT, it’s humid, it’s Houston….but now we can see just how hot, how humid, even when the sun goes down! (there's a photo sensor that turns on the clock-face LEDs automatically after dark).
We were actually looking for an outdoor clock and came across this handsome, versatile conversation piece. With an 18-inch diameter and 14-inch face, it suited our needs perfectly, right down to the bronze finish.
The clock utilizes one AA battery, the LED lights require 4-D batteries (not included). Hopefully with LED technology those batteries last a good-long while, otherwise we might just go without the night-light feature, but it does look COOL in the dark! (see photos)
