How many bags would I seed to cover 2 foot X 20 foot area about 2 to three inches deep?

How many bags would I seed to cover 2 foot X 20 foot area about 2 to three inches deep?
Asked by: Sandra
The bag contains about (guesstimate) 1.25 — 1.5 cu. ft. You’ve described a volume of 10 cu. ft. So, seven bags should probably cover your area at 3” deep.

I have a space 17'x10'. How many bags do i need to cover soil?

Asked by: Jane
DONT BUY THESE. they are very pretty, but it was literally just a handful of stones in a small mesh bag! Rocks weigh a LOT, it wasnt enough to cover anything. We decorated a rain pipe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These stones are beautiful but unreasonably expensive. A 20... These stones are beautiful but unreasonably expensive. A 20 pound bag won't go very far at all. I'd probably need at least fifty bags to cover the area in which I had intended to use them. I only bought five bags, at $20.00 per bag. For now, I'll just save them until I find a very small area in which to use them. Or, I might buy cheaper, white beach stones for my area, and then use these as an accent to sparsely spread over those. To use these stones exclusively would be prohibitively expensive for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your time and money on these rocks ! Rocks were special ordered from the west coast center to the Chgo area. They weren't at the pro desk as I had selected on the order form option. Confusion as to where there were the day I went to pick them up...the first day they arrived and the store was unorganized. The rocks should have been 1 to 2 in. but were 90 percent one inch....just like any other less expensive bag of landscape rocks. These rocks were dirty, so I had to wash them 3 times in a utility tub...full of sand and plain dirt and worst of all they were NOT shinny as stated. In fact, I decided to weigh them and was shorted at least one pound. For the pricey price...not a happy camper. Better off getting craft rocks that are colorful and less expensive. Totally a waste of time and energy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sonora Stones / Incredible These landscape rocks are a splendid addition to my home. After relocating from California to Midwest,it was clear I need color & texture year round. The supply runs out so order an ample amount. I adore them! I will triple my order next time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing There were more smaller stones than I expected. For only .25 cu.ft. it is an expensive product and disappointing.
