The 2 in. to 3 in. Black Mexican Beach Pebble (2200 lbs. Super Sack) comes from the beaches of Baja, Mexico and have been naturally smoothed and tumbled by ocean waves for hundreds of years. These stones are the perfect material to be used for drought tolerant, water wise dry-scape landscaping and gardening. The beautiful colors range from grey to charcoal and will create a dramatic, natural affect when used in gardens, ponds and stream beds as well as around trees, walk ways, driveways and patio's. These stones are easy to spread, protect soil from temperature eXTREMEs, restrain the growth of weeds and can also be used to help protect drainage areas from erosion.

A:  Hi, we do not send out samples. We recommend you buy 1 bag of the type and size of pebble or rock you like before buying multiple bags. If your not satisfied with the pebble you could return to Home Depot and get a refund.

    A:  Hi Lupy, regarding your question on what kind of truck will deliver to your home will depend on what Freight Company that is assigned to your area (City). You will then need to contact the freight company and ask them what kind of truck and how they will deliver the material to you. We use various different freight companies and will not know until we receive the order. Sorry I was unable to answer your question.

      A:  1/2" - 1" pebble will cover approximately 135 sq ft./CY. Square footage is based off a standard 2" to single layer depth. 800# will cover approximately 40 sq ft.

          Not sure who is at fault
          The bag was open when I arrived home to find it in my drive way. I doubt it had 500 lbs of rocks in it.

            Purchased these 1/2" to 1" beach pebbles to mix in w/ existing stone at my Victorian home. Shipment was delayed due to uncontrollable regional issues, w/ multiple failed deliveries along the way. Once the pebbles finally did arrive, my yard guy spread all 2,200 lbs and I arrived home to find them very different than advertised: The pebbles we received are 2"-3.5" overall instead of the 1/2"-1" we ordered and are considerably bluer. I tried calling Home Depot online support multiple times, held for upwards 30 mins w/o ever reaching a live agent, only receiving more surveys for my efforts. Since I ordered the pebbles online at the advice of my local ProDesk, I tried calling ProDesk for help w/o a single call back. In the abstract, these pebbles (rocks really) are nice and would look great installed at a modern hotel poolside. However, they are NOT what we ordered and look rotten in my old-fashioned garden. Significant product problem compounded by understandable delivery issues and inexplicably awful customer service.

              We LOVE this product. We ordered some black stone to mix with it and it looks really nice. I wish I had ordered 3-5", but this is true to size. So pretty and the color variations are beautiful. Very pleased.

              I ordered these rocks to go around my deck and in the front flower beds. I calculated how much I thought I would need. I needed more. The rocks are exactly as described. I would recommend ordering more than you think you need. With the large rocks they don’t cover as much space as the littler ones. They are beautiful thought!! Highly recommend.
