The Energy Plus in-wall fan-forced electric heater uses an intelligent control and auto adjusting fan speed to maintain the desired temperature for your room within 1°. Delivering only the heat you need for maximum efficiency. This hard-wired electric heater warms small to medium sized rooms up to 175 sq. ft.
- Hard-wired multi-volt fan heater with unique power supply smart sensor takes all the guesswork out of installation by auto-adjusting the heater voltage to match your voltage supply. No need to worry about damaging the heater or whether you have 120-Volt, 208-Volt, or 240-Volt wiring. Before purchasing, confirm your power supply voltage to determine the heater's output (check your breaker, use a voltmeter, or refer to your old heater's label if replacing).
- Multi-Volt options: 1,600-Watt output at 240 volts (6.7 Amps, 5,460 BTUs); 1,500-Watt output at 208 volts (7.2 Amps, 5,120 BTUs); 1,000-Watt output at 120 volts (8.3 Amps, 3,412 BTUs)

Pushbutton broke after just 1 year!
Bought by us at Home Depot and installed by a licensed electrician in Jan. 2021. The heat element seems to function fine, but today, we went to lower the temperature and the button just broke right off - and no replacement part available!

Worked good but not durable
Have this a little more than a year and a control button broke off. I looked at the parts list to replace the control unit but the part number is not listed. Disappointed in the quality of the control unit and the lack of parts to fix it.

Seems solid so far, quiet, thermostat and temp setting is a plus!
These were pretty easy to install, they look good in the wall and having the ability to set a specific temp to keep my 450sqft studio unit at is a huge plus over the other models that end up with the unit being scorching hot.
These run much quieter than the other models I had. I will say I did prefer the metal outside casing over these plastic ones, but that is a small nit pick overrall.
210.00 seems a bit on the expensive side for the only real difference being a thermostat, but overall I still recommend this product.

I replaced my 50+ year electric old wall heater with the Cadet for a basement bath and it works excellently. Easy to install, looks great, all you have to do is set the thermostat to keep the place toasty warm. Since the Cadet was much smaller than the original 50+ year old heater I boxed in the Cadet and added trim molding.

TL;DR: I love it. Totally worth it.
We have a small home with four Cadet wall heaters that we've have for ten years. Recently the heating element in one of them stopped working, so I looked at either replacing the element (over half the cost of a new one) or replacing it. The ones we had before are the regular ones with the dial thermometer. I like them because they allow for zone heating, they're simple, and they heat things up quickly. When the fan is on it can be kind of loud though. And when they turn off the air cools, and so it can start to feel cold until it kicks on again. At which point it is loud. Decided to replace the broken one with this new electronic model. It really is an upgrade. First off, it was easy to install into the old Cadet heater can. It literally took me about five minutes to disconnect the old wires and connect the new ones (power off at the main of course). The variable fan speed is great, the heater can be turned totally off, but when you actually want to heat things, it's constantly running, which means no cold times, just nice even heat. The fan is quiet, too, barely noticeable in the living room. If it were in a bedroom and you wanted absolute silence, it could be annoying as a background hum, but so much better than a loud fan that goes off and on all night. I only installed it a week ago, so I don't know what the electricity savings will look like, if there are any. So far I'm very pleased, and if the other heaters fail we'll replace them with these new ones. They are more expensive than the regular Cadet heater, but I got a discount for opening a new Home Depot credit card. So far it definitely seems worth it!

I purchased the heater to warm up the bedroom and bathroom in the mornings. It works well for that purpose but I wouldn't recommend it for a large room. It is fairly quiet, with just a low humming noise although when the fan is on there is a little more noise and vibration that I can feel when I'm in bed (the heater and bed are on the same wall). I wish it had a bit more programming available so I could set it to come on at a certain time. It is an affordable solution to replacing my old baseboard heater.
