Q:Does the unit get hot to touch? or is it a cool touch for children?
by|Mar 27, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question

A:  Hi Paul, Our heaters are designed with the safety and comfort of your family in mind. But the surface temperatures do get hot to the touch and proper clearance requirements should be maintained at all times to keep you safe. And just like other appliances such as your stove, toaster or grill, children and pets should not be left unattended while your heater is in use. Glen Dimplex Americas Customer Experience Team

    Q:Can I connect 3- 8' heaters and 1- 4' heater on the same double 30amp breaker?
    by|Mar 7, 2023
    1 Answer
    Answer This Question

A:  Hi Ace2807, Please consult an electrician as that is not enough amperage for all those units and watts. All electrical work must comply with the state and local codes. The minimum would be at least a 50 Amp that is dedicated to just those heaters. Glen Dimplex Americas Customer Experience Team

      Q:Can I use a 50 amp breaker on a cadet baseboard heater model 8f2025w
      by|Feb 18, 2023
      1 Answer
      Answer This Question

A:  Yes, you can use a 50amp breaker which might be a bit overkill but will not hurt the heater. You will be able to expand on it by putting more heaters if needed in the future on that same circuit. Glen Dimplex Americas Customer Experience Team

          Nice product great value
Overall this electric baseboard heater by Cadet is just what our home needed. Our old outdated, painted on by the previous home-owner heaters were a drag. We purchased 12 to update our entire house including the basement.. Easy to install (provided you know something about electricity, otherwise hire a professional) we were heating in just a few hours - 10-15 minutes per unit. Now our home looks and feels warm and cozy - highly recommend this product.

Baseboard heat is a good buy
We bought 2 of the 240 Volt 8" baseboard heaters and thermostats. They are supplemental heat for two roomson the lower level and will be uses occasionally for extra heat in front of the windows. Good powder coating, look and operate well. They warm the room quicker than expected. Right now we're using them to dry the paint.

Performs great, as expected. The Cadet Double-pole 22 Amp Line Voltage 120/240/208-volt Mechanical Wall-mount, however, are off. Some are incredibly off, not sure how to recalibrate.

          Hi Paul,
This unit has different wattages that it could be wired. Depending on the wattage used and what the square footage of actual room is as sometimes you don't have enough wattage for the room size. Finally found the baseboard heaters in Almond. Not everyone wants white. Ordered online, keeping my fingers crossed that the two came in undamaged. Despite a bunch of minor flaws, I kept them because these were the last two available!
