Product Details

An accessory adapter that provides an alternative to sheetrock patching, tape and texture. It works with any of the Cadet Com-Pak fan-forced units to cover-up a large hole so you can replace an outdated heater with a new one. A great alternative for replacing obsolete heaters, the metal adapters can be painted with acrylic latex paint. Maximum area coverage is 16.5 in. W x 20 in. H. Includes adapter, instructions and 4 white screws.

A:  It would not be easy to modify and still look good. You'd be better off letting the excess extend over your wall and painting it to match. It would be possible to cut it with a metal saw but it seems like an awful lot of work.

        Very over priced for what it is though when you consider the time and effort to patch , finish and paint a sheet rock wall then it’s not too bad. I suppose we pay for the convenience. Very easy to install and since it’s hard to find heaters these days that come anywhere close to the sizes of older units makes it almost a nessisty.

        Good looking cover
        covered old hole very well. Only one slight negative is that the sheet didn't lay flat against the wall and I had to add a couple more screws to get it flat. Maybe it was my walls not being flat - they are very old!
