Questions & Answers

what do I use next to a tub that is not straight?

What do I use to place the vinyl tile plank next to the slightly curved bathtub edge that won't take a straight edge? Do i use this tape? I want to cover the old concrete flooring but I am not sure how to come up to the edge of the tub, how to tack it down, and how to cover the edges meeting on the floor. The walls can use splashguard or quarterround, but what about the floor edge of the tub? thanks.

I purchased Allure Trafficmaster vinyl planks years ago and had installed. I have about 10 damaged planks, and replacing them. I have extra planks from 2 years ago, instead of buying more, I was going to used the leftover planks. Could I use this allure tape? If so, would I just put over the old adhesive strip?
Asked by: charlo
Yes, it works great. I keep it around just incase. Also used it to mount the matching trim.
