Product Overview

While many smokers have just enough power to dry jerky, the Smoke Vault 18 in. and 24 in. creates a wide range of usable heat that can be used for smoking ribs, fish and turkeys as well as baking pies and breads. Infuse that tasty mesquite, hickory, apple - or your favorite smoked flavor - into your meat with the Camp Chef 24 in. Smoke Vault. A simple, matchless-ignition system, fully adjustable heat-control dials and 18,000 BTUs of heat make smoking meat easier. Two adjustable racks and a jerky smoking rack allow you space to smoke to your liking. The 24 in. Vault is even roomy enough to smoke a full turkey in. Three damper valves help control internal temperature and smoke levels while a wood chip tray and water pan create smoke and keep meat moist. Cooking tips, ideas and recipes are included to help get you started.

Great smoker for anyone!
I love my 24” smoke vault! My wife bought this as a present 5 years ago and it’s still going strong. The multiple trays allow for A LOT of food at once. It easily fits 2 large turkeys or 2 large briskets (you could fit 3, but 2 would be better). I do have the cover and use an external probe to monitor ambient air. The only reason I rated 4 of 5 is the door. I would like to see a split door so you can address the fire or wood chunks & chips without losing heat in the main chamber.

    The smoker was shipped to the store promptly. The assembly was easy with the instructions included. I bought this smoker due to the size, it is a lot bigger than my electric one. So far I have smoked ribs and wild hog tenderloin, they came out excellent. I am going to smoke some deer sausage next. So far so good, I am very pleased with the smoker. If you are on the fence about it go for it!!!

    This smoker is everything and more. Tons of room, heats up to temp quickly. My first meat that went in was 2 slabs of ribs and a whole spatchcocked chicken. I would absolutely recomend this smoker. It says that its not for competition, however you can feed a ton of people with it. Did I mention that it looks cool as ever . Smoke Vault with a temp gauge that looks like a safe combo lock.

    Amazing all around !
    Inherited my 24 vault so being second hand has some wear and tear, but after looking around and talking to others who smoke I'm very pleased with this smoker . Electric ones may hold set temp better , but just dont cook or taste the same . Still on LP , but might convert to NG this summer. As for now I can cook around 235deg for an entire day and really not devoured a tank of LP as expected. For first time smokers we love to make own baste and mixes and try new things and the experience with this smoker is absolutely great hands down . Its 30deg outside with snow on ground and we are happy and excited to be smoking today - give idea of how much we enjoy it . Pulled pork and jerky are only two things we have yet to make . Have smoked two meats at same time using wireless thermometers to track temps interal and externally and flavors have not mixed enough to notice . Side by side - dont stack them dont want juices to cross between the meats . When this one dies we are planning on buying a new one exactly same accept maybe a jerky rack ( that would be nice ). Thank you guys and gals for creating this amazing smoker .

      Long lasting
      I’ve had one for many years now. Use it to smoke summer sausage and fish mostly. Easily holds fifty pounds of summer sausage. Have to watch the meat as one side of the smoker gets done before the other at times. I finally wore out the burner today so will see if it can be repaired or if I replace the entire unit. This one has lasted longer than other brands owned by friends.

        The Smoke Vault was easy to assemble, but had to buy an additional washer so the handle assembly would sit correctly. Seasoning the vault was a cinch. I smoked 3 Cornish game hens, a double rack of beef ribs and a boneless pork roast the next day and everything came out perfect.

        I cut my teeth on a Master Chef upright. Great smaller smoker and then I got the Camp Chef Smoke Vault. Great rack size with 3 racks. Wonderful temperature control and wood trough is strong and durable. Once set, the only chore is to keep it wood supplied. The pork , chicken or beef is top shelf cooked in it.
