Great price on a hard to find part
Needed this part for a custom built pressure tester. I was surprised to find it available for pickup at my local HD. Good quality and worked just like I needed it to.

Best deal on a quality brass Schroeder valve
I had a pluming project in an old house and needed a brass 1/4" male pipe threaded Schroeder valve (Tank Valve) for a pressure test I need to make before turning the water on. i could not find one locally anywhere so resorted to searching for one over the internet. I only found a few places that sold them online. Home Depot had exactly what I needed at the best price I could find. So I ordered it to arrive at our local store, pickd it up and put my water pipe pressure test kit together. (See Picture) It worked perfectly and well worth making because several of the old valves did not hold pressure and would have leaked water everywhere. With the handy valve I added about 50 lb per sq in of air pressure into the pipe with my compressor and stand air gun. Then when all the leaks were found and repaired I could relieve the pressure at the Schroeder valve and remove the pressure kit safely with out any pressure in the line. If you have a project that requires a Schroeder valve this one works perfectly.

This valve worked just as I expected. The male NPT threads fit the female 1/8 in adapter perfectly.

I needed a low profile air fitting for an air cannon I use to launch a messenger line for hauling...
I needed a low profile air fitting for an air cannon I use to launch a messenger line for hauling up a wire transmitting antenna. This fit the bill perfectly as others were significantly taller.

Maybe I just got a bad one? The valve itself...
Maybe I just got a bad one? The valve itself began to leak audibly after only a few uses. Putting the valve cap on slowed it down some, but it will need to be replaced.
