You can review the manual at the on-line product listing under "Additional Resources". There it states the duty cycle is 75%. For the Campbell Hausfeld VT6195 the recommended maximum continuous run time is 45 minutes. The VT6195 compressor should also not exceed an 75% duty cycle. If your usage will take you over an 75% duty cycle, it is recommended that you step up to a larger compressor that can meet your usage needs while keeping the compressor duty cycle under 75%. If you need any further guidance, please feel free to contact a team member to discuss at 1-888-895-4549. Thank you - The CH Team

Stationary air compressors do not typically come with an electrical cord or plug. The length of cord and plug style a customer will need will vary so no cord is provided. It is recommended that wiring be done by a licensed electrician. This is common among all stationary air compressors. If you require additional assistance, please feel free to contact Product Services at 888-895-4549.
Typically and per National Wiring Codes, these are to be "Hard-wired" ....inasmuch as Your prior experiences and skill set has NOT allowed you that knowledge, HIRE a Licensed Electrician to avoid a Ruined Unit or improper electrical installation.
Ed - "WHY" can't I get some straight answers?? ...fire someone! Sir: a) - Since 100% of these are only {Final Assembled} in states now, the extensive COVID Global disaster has dramatically interrupted the typical supplies of Global Components from Asia/China. b) - I have found it to be both expedient AND mandatory to just use my home P.C., putting the desired Item in my {Shopping Cart} clarifying that I ONLY want free 'Ship-to-Store" and Buy it. c) - When a 'REPLY' is not immediately - at the longest within 24 hours for M/F - they confirm or reject AND, I know as a result.

Ed = ?? What local store has this specific Unit in Stock ?? a) - Use this telephone # with the exact "SKU" = {800-466-3337} ...they should be able to tell you which H.D. Store is nearest your Zip Code that has (1).

Mike = Life Expectancy of Air Pump?? A) - Bearings are usually rated @ 10,000 hours on many Industrial Air Compressors. B) - HOWEVER, inasmuch as THIS is a "D.I.Y." Unit and NOT an Industrial Compressor, C / H suggests 2,000 hrs.. C) - TOTALLY depends upon the diligence exercised in appropriately-servicing the Air Cleaner Filters, Crankcase Oil AND the environment of Any Compressor Unit, of course.
"Lifetime" expectancy ?? (..only 1,000 Hours - - strictly to be used by a Home Enthusiast / "D.I.Y." individual - - - - NEVER anything such as Commercial Tire or Body Shop, etc..
Typically, these pumps are tested to 1,000 hours even though the life may extend beyond that.

MikeSorre;; - 01 / 22nd - - Re:{Size of C - H 60 Gallon Unit?} Sir: Slightly under that picture of Unit is 'SPECIFICATION' wherein is listed: [... 29" x 33" x 74" tall ... ] - - - BUT ... It NEEDS to be quite-a-distance from nearest surrounding, in order to get sufficient air circulation for cooling! .... in reading the other, available pdf files, it is suggested to be about 18" from nearest Wall & definitely NEVER inside any enclosure / closet!! - - - - eli2
Additional Postscript to / for: MikeSorrell - 01 / 22nd - { ?? BELT SIZE ??} Sir" In re-reading your post, it may-well be that you needed BELT SIZE?? - - - readily-available at any Industrial Parts Store or Internet, the Replacement Parts - Page # 28 - states it requires an "AX48" which is an older designation - - - nowadays, it would be more appropriate to simply get an A48 BUT of "KEVLAR construction, not the 'cog or notched.' - - - apologies and sorry about misunderstanding, originally!! - - - - eli2
(... Work on Single Phase / 240v?) Y-E-S! .... many times, the "TERMS" of 230v verses 240v are used one-for-the-opposite in describing these Units. - - - - eli2
Yes it will
TO: jphn - dated 9 / 02nd - - Re"{Willthis Unit work on 240V?} Sir: Perhaps I am missing something? ... (A) - BUT, THAT is exactly what the literature / specs / information states about this HUSKY Air Compressor! (B) - .... Should it be that the "reference" of 230V was confusing, that is simply a generic expression carried-over thru the many years of whenever Folks thought of Home Power as being 110V / 220V - - then 115V / 230V and so on.... (C) - Necessary will be the addition of new 240V - double pole breakers inside your main electrical panel from the local utilty and, then, the appropriate 10/4 wiring -(depending upon total distance, of course)- to those screw terminals of the Unit's Pressure Switch. - - Thanks for your Question! - - - - eli2
