The cap a treads look nice but took a lot...
The cap a treads look nice but took a lot of trimming had to be done to get a good fit. There weren’t any instructions that came with them but I found a video on YouTube which helped some. Time will tell how durable they are. It’s too early to make an evaluation on that aspect. Overall if I was doing it again I would have a cabinet shop make some treads and riser overlays for me. I’m not impressed with the materials the cap a treads are made from.

Once measured, they were easy to cut and fit over the stair treads. They look great and match my floors perfectly.
