Simply pull and twist the latch to open and to close, just swing the gate shut. The Auto-Lock Gate is constructed of aluminum, which is lighter weight than steel and is virtually rustproof. Using this as a gate on the stairs going up...
Using this as a gate on the stairs going up to my indoor pool. It's keeping my dogs from being able to take a swim when I am not supervising.
